A special thank you to Lulu, whose cheerful and energetic personality made such a great impression from the very beginning. She was incredibly helpful, approachable and supportive in guiding us through. Also, a big thank you to Michael on the mortgage side. His support and professionalism were fantastic throughout. I still remember telling them on the day of visit to Lewse Road branch, “I wish I had visited you first!” That really sums up how impressed I was with the team. I had a really positive experience selling my property with King & Chasemore from start to finish and would happily recommend them. Lulu handled most of the initial side of selling my property and was fantastic throughout. From our first conversations about putting the property on the market, she was friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoyable to deal with. Communication was always good, viewings were well organised and I always felt like I knew what was happening. She made the whole process feel personal rather than just like another property sale, and I really appreciated the time and effort she put in. Once the sale was agreed, Nathalie took over the progression through to completion and did a great job of keeping everything on track and was always quick to come back to me if I had any questions. Having someone keeping an eye on everything during this part of the process definitely took a lot of the stress out of it. Overall, I was very happy with the service from Lulu, Nathalie and the whole King & Chasemore team. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and helpful, and the communication throughout was excellent. Selling and moving home can be a stressful process, but they made it as straightforward as possible and helped everything get over the line successfully. I felt compelled to leave a review for Lulu because the level of service she has provided throughout my home-buying journey has been nothing short of outstanding. As a first-time buyer making a big move to Brighton, I was understandably nervous and very particular about what I was looking for. Lulu has been an absolute godsend from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to my needs and preferences and was incredibly patient throughout the process, despite me being quite fussy at times! What impressed me most was that I never felt like she was simply trying to fill viewing slots or send me any available property. We had a disappointing experience with the way our application was handled by Amelia. From the beginning, we were encouraged to proceed and submit an offer, with the impression that things were moving forward positively. Based on this, we acted quickly and in good faith. However, after submitting our offer, the process changed unexpectedly, and we were informed that further viewings would continue before any decision would be made. While we understand that landlords may wish to consider multiple applicants, the lack of clear guidance and inconsistent communication from Amelia made the process feel unclear and, at times, misleading. As prospective tenants on a tight relocation timeline, clear and consistent communication is extremely important. Unfortunately, we felt that the process was not managed in a way that reflected this. We hope that in future, applicants are given clearer expectations and guidance from the outset to avoid unnecessary uncertainty and inconvenience.

Even though I didn’t end up buying a property via King & Chasemore, I would definitely recommend them. Lulu showed me around a number of properties and helped me to figure what I was looking for. Her friendly, approachable manner mixed with an excellent depth of knowledge about properties in the local area helped me to feel much more relaxed as a first time buyer. Especially Conor from the saltdean branch. 1- Conor understood the extra care my daughter requires and went above and beyond at the viewing, making her very comfortable. 2- From the moment my daughter was excepted for the property Conor stayed in constant contact with us with regular updates. 3- the day we picked up the keys went brilliantly, my daughter received a cute little gift box for moving into her property and everything was explained properly. Made an offer based on the information I was given from Nathalie. It took a month for anything to happen and when the real information came through it turned out she was completely wrong and there were major fire risks to the building and the purchase could not go forward. It cost £80 for the ID check which they wouldn't refund. I wouldn't have offered if they'd given me the correct information and I wouldn't have needed to pay that fee.
