GoogleIntercounty do an appalling job for their sellers. Firstly, after a whole load of enthusiasm at the start, empty promises and inane chat about how I'd have 'no problem' selling my modern family house in a booming sellers' market, they managed to organise just three viewings in a month. I then switched to another agent, who sold my house for the asking price in three days, before they'd even had to put it on Rightmove. I also looked at a house on the market with Intercounty in January, was extremely interested, made an offer that wasn't much below the asking price, but was told the sellers wouldn't even consider my offer until I put my own house on the market (with Intercounty) - despite the fact I was a cash buyer (ie not dependent on my house selling). I can only assume Intercounty got greedy for two sets of commission, but ultimately, this greed cost them the sale: I decided I didn't want to market my house until I knew I had somewhere else to go. I see from Intercounty's website that that house is still on the market now, six months later.

GoogleWhilst Intercounty lettings may not be the cheapest letting agent on the market (others will definitely try to undercut them), I wouldn't change. They have a dedicated call centre for dealing with letting issues (not just one person in a busy estate agent office), they have reliable and responsive tradespeople to deal with issues if they arise, and in the most part are responsive and professional in their communications. Obviously this can depend on the specific property manager you are dealing with, but they appear review their staff effectiveness and deal with issues if they arise. I would definitely recommend Intercounty Lettings to anyone looking for hassle free property management. I will use them again in the future.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
