From the start through to completion, the level of communication was excellent and the team worked very hard, with someone always available when I had any queries. A special shout out to Dale on the Sales side and Hayley, Sales Progressor, who worked tirelessly to keep the sale on track when there were a few complications, liaising with both solicitors and other parties and myself. I would definitely recommend.

We have recently completed on our beautiful forever home purchased through Intercounty. The team at Saffron Walden were incredibly helpful through the process with Sarah being particularly helpful - especially during the last few weeks leading up to exchange. Our shining star though was Hayley, the Sales Progressor based at Great Dunmow. We were hugely impressed by her communication from the moment our offer was accepted right through to exchange day. She kept us updated throughout the whole process, politely asked for updates from us and continuing to pass on any information she had about the progression of the chain...particularly during the stressful lead up to exchange. We cannot thank Intercounty enough for not only ensuring we had a successful and stress-free purchase, but for all your incredible knowledgeable helpful staff. The lovely gift we received from you when we picked up the keys on completion day was the icing on the cake! Thank you so much Intercounty!

We have just bought our first house with Intercounty and we cannot fault their service. Grace was amazing when we first started viewing houses, very knowledgable and keen to help us. Jake was great when we viewed our house, giving us lots of information but not pushy or overbearing like we have found some other estate agents from different companies. We were then referred to Hayley as our sales progressor and she has been brilliant. As first time buyers, we had lots of questions and she always got back to us in a timely manner and nothing felt too silly to ask. Hayley was aware of all the updates and ensured to chase solicitors when needed so that actions were in place swiftly She was great at communicating between us and the sellers, meaning that the process was smooth and able to take place quickly which we all wanted. Intercounty have been great and we cannot fault them!

Communication, service, and general attitude was great from all staff. Particular massive thanks to Katie Beard who dealt with our house purchase. Katie was consistently supportive, kind, helpful and professional at every step, through what ended up being quite a drawn out process. She followed up any/all relevant information and would always communicate back to me efficiently and in good time. Grace West is such an asset to Intercounty. When we started kooking at buying our first home in January we had dealings with nearly all of the estate agents in the area. Grace was a breathe of fresh air in her proactive approach. She went out if her way to tell us about a house that fitted the brief of what we were looking for, and was not yet on the open market. Intercounty Dunmow helped me with the sale of my shared ownership property. The housing association had listed the property as required for 3 months with not a single viewing arranged. I was deflated about it and Intercounty changed the whole thing. I was very impressed by the initial appointment and how quickly they got it on the market. Intercounty handled all of the viewings and communicated really well throughout. Very quickly I received offers and the sale was arranged. Unfortunately the first buyer pulled out at the last minute. Intercounty again very quickly found another buyer. I spoke mostly with Annabel Gurnett who was great both times! After the sale was agreed Hayley French progressed the sale and without her I’m not sure what I would have done, it felt like she made it her personal mission to get it done. The buyers solicitor was very slow and Hayley sent multiple chaser emails and kept me updated throughout. It made the process much less stressful, so thank you so much. Overall everyone was really helpful and technically sold the flat twice (thankfully only charging me once!). Really good team, highly recommended!

We used Intercounty for both our sale and purchase, which eventually turned into quite a lengthy and at times fairly intense chain process with plenty of moving parts, pressure and last-minute twists along the way. Throughout all of it, Hayley (specifically) was consistently transparent, proactive and supportive. What really stood out was her communication and experience navigating the realities of chain politics and the more pressured side of the process, whilst still remaining calm, honest and approachable throughout. By the final stretch there was probably more chasing, negotiating and brinkmanship across the chain than any of us would have ideally wanted, but Hayley genuinely helped get matters over the line and we really appreciated all her efforts from start to finish.
