GoogleWe have been delighted with the service which the Goadsby office in Salisbury provided in the selling of my Father in law’s house. We have felt we could trust them to provide us with realistic information and advice. They would not make or pressurise us into making decisions but would offer opinions from their greater knowledge of the selling market. As first time sellers, who are based in another city from the one where the house we were selling was based, this was very important and much appreciated. They kept us constantly informed and asked for approval on all publicity information. They were always courteous and provided extra support in the form of meter readings when necessary. They let us know if there was anything that needed attending to in the house. We would strongly recommend them for selling your house as all of the staff we encountered proved an excellent service.

GoogleI'll be honest, in the many times I've moved in my 66 years, I have had little time for estate agents. I've found them to be, (once an offer was accepted), uninterested beyond the bare necessities of gaining their percentage. Then I underwent a horrendous sale, lasting five long drawn out months. Those months were painful and harmful to my sanity (thank you to my buyer for the extra pain). As I was ignored by solicitors beyond the minimum of formality, the one port of calm I found was Goadsbys in Yeovil. In particular 'Saint' Sophie. She was the sole person who actually battled on my behalf, who did all she could to keep me both sane and to achieve the holy grail of Exchange. She was 101% batting for my team and without her I'd have succumbed to the overwhelming stress. THANK YOU Sophie, you were a saver of sanity and truly professional, but with a capital P.

We have been a tenant with goadsby for a few years and up until recently were ok but on leaving our property early at the landlord’s request we did so at great expense to ourselves !the landlord aided by goadsby have since tried to keep most of my deposit as well for fictitious repairs and to add insult to injury they promised me and I have emails to prove this I would have the undisputed part of my deposit back today and guess what I’ve not got it they are rude do not understand the law or promises made so avoid very very poor

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, particularly as you moved out early at the landlord’s request and have then been left feeling let down by the way the deposit has been handled and communicated. We take deposit deductions and timescales very seriously. Please contact the branch in writing with your tenancy address, move-out date and deposit reference, and attach the emails you mention confirming the return date for the undisputed amount. A manager can then review the file, the proposed deductions and where the payment is up to. As your deposit is held in a tenancy deposit scheme, you also have the right to use the scheme’s independent dispute process for any deductions you don’t agree with. We’re sorry again for the frustration caused, please get in touch so we can investigate and help resolve this.

GoogleI am delighted that I chose Goadsby in Wareham to sell my property, they are a fantastic close knit team of hard working professionals and I can’t praise them enough for everything they did. I was very impressed with the quality of the sales particulars and photographs, all of which showed my property at its best. But best of all was the excellence of the service from the whole team. I was kept fully informed at every stage and nothing was too much trouble. The people viewing were all carefully vetted to ensure that potential buyers were properly matched to my property. Goadsby found a buyer very quickly and the extremely high calibre of their professionalism became even more self evident when they expertly managed things to go from ‘offer received’ to ‘exchange of contracts’; in Less than 5-weeks!! As someone who is experienced in buying and selling property, I can absolutely say that Goadsby in Wareham is the best Estate Agent I have ever been lucky enough to use and I’m so pleased I chose them! My sincere thanks to Chloe, Olly, Gavin and all the team, who were fantastic at every stage. My advice? Don't waste your time on something as important as selling your house, by using anyone else!

GoogleI couldn't fault Goadsby's in expediting the sale ...from the initial engagement, telling me they would get the brochure completed by the Tuesday AFTER the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, AND then making good on this commitment (a remarkable achievement that shows real dedication) to the last day, chivvying the solicitors (sadly, this was necessary). I could neither fault, nor improve on the service I received from Goadsby's (except maybe suggest they take on Conveyancing as well to speed EVERYTHING up!) And excellent & regular communication throughout the entire process. Faultless
