If you're a potential tenant - avoid this agency at all costs. Unsurprisingly, the majority of reviews you will read on this will be from landlords or sellers, but there's a lack of reviews from actual tenants about their experiences. So here's a first. Enfields will be your best friend when you're dealing with the lettings department. However once you have signed the contract and moved in you will deal with the property management department, who are nothing but nightmares. The communication from Enfields is beyond nonexistent, you will have better luck getting replies and answers from a brick wall. If you report faults don't expect them to be dealt with, even if it is a legal responsibility for the landlord to fix. Don't even expect a response at all, and if you do manage to get through to them over the phone instead, you will be fobbed off with rubbish excuses, or told it will be dealt with soon, but months will pass, and the same replies will be given. I am an experienced renter, having lived in many properties in my lifetime so far around the country, majority with estate agencies, and Enfields is 100% one of the worst I have experienced. It took 7 weeks to get my deposit back. Not because of any dispute or issue, but because I would not get a reply when asking where it was, "sorry we've been busy" would be the answer after chasing for 2 months. I spent more time chasing them about my property, then they spent actually managing it and doing their jobs. Unfortunately it got to the point of threatening legal action before Enfields would even begin to reply. And only once I'd submitted the documentation to take the landlady to court, I finally got an answer. So in summary, if you're looking for a rental property, save yourself the hassle, even if it's the house of your dreams, it is not worth it. I will forever avoid any property managed by this joke of an agency, and I would suggest anyone reading this to do the same. I don't often write reviews, but my experience was so bad, this was a necessity to warn others. Avoid. At all costs.

We faced setbacks with buyers dropping out, one of them keeping us waiting for two months only to pull out at the end. Despite this, Jack and James were fantastic, they were proactive, persistent, and worked tirelessly to find new buyers. Within just a couple of weeks they secured another deal, and ultimately got the sale completed. Throughout this stressful time, Jack always offered the best advice and never gave up on getting us through to completion. The Devil works fast, but Patrick Duffy works faster. As a first time seller I was nervous selling my property, due to an uncertain market. After getting an estimate from a reputed agent in the Moordown area that was 10k less from what I thought my property was worth, I was recommended Enfields - and it was the right call. Patrick was the agent I worked with and it was a very different experience from the others I consulted with when shopping around - honest, no nonsense, and full of useful advice and experience - Patrick didn't promise anything he couldn't deliver. The main points that made me choose Enfields was: - Patrick's experience and genuine confidence in the value of my property and it's features. - Enfields ongoing track of quickest sales in the area on average - and that's not an exageration. - The fact they understand the best buyers profile for your property and don't just arrange 20 viewings of time wasters - they pair the right people to the right properties, doing the right thing for the buyers and the sellers. - There was no hard sale or pushing of marketing services I didn't need - like I said, honest and down to earth. Within a few days professional photos were taken (by Patrick) and my property was listed. Within 24h of listing I had a viewing. Within 3h of the viewing we had an an offer. If anything I felt bad that all the effort put into the listing was gone from OnTheMarket so quickly ahaha. Enfields selling averages were not lying. This might not be the case every time, but the effort and speed put into setting up, and buyer->property matching speaks for itself and is definitely worth every penny. From then on, Rachael Clark handled the communication during the sale process, and would proactively reach out whenever there were any updates on the process. The personal touch of both Patrick and Rachael to even call just congratulate on the completion day, went to show the personal and friendly treatment the have for their customers. I'm very happy with Enfields, I am recommending them to everyone, and when I buy again, it will definitely be through them.

Very disappointing experience. I provided every document they asked for honestly and on time, but despite this, they rejected my application with unclear reasons. They took my holding deposit before giving me a tenancy agreement and then changed their terms later. Communication was poor, and I felt treated unfairly throughout the process. I wouldn’t recommend this agency based on my experience.

The agents of Enfields are awful. They are always on annual leave and there is no one to follow up our case. I currently have a renting contract with Enfields. At the end of April this year, I asked for a change of contract and the request was confirmed. But there has been no progress for over a month. There was never an update or an explanation in the delay. I sent a chasing email again on last Saturday and there is still no reply. Now the existing contract expired and I am asked to pay rent again for at least two months which costs more than £2,000. That amount could have been saved if the change of contract was completed in time.
