I was a part of a group of students renting a property for the 2023/24 period and I must say that if you want a stress free experience, don’t use this company. While the staff themselves were lovely people, the way our tenancy was handled was less than ideal and caused us stress on multiple occasions. Initially, they lost multiple of our emails during the signing of forms, and even asked us to resend our deposit despite us telling them we had already sent it. We understood that they were busy with masses of students using their services at the time, so we didn’t think much of it. However, when the time came to live in the property, the landlord had organised for some windows to be replaced without Enfields knowing, despite using one of their (now fired) contractors. This contractor on multiple occasions entered our house without permission from either us or Enfields, and it only took a third offence and a threat to contact the property ombudsman that they fired the contractor (after hinting it was not just our property that was being entered unlawfully). It just seems like the staff themselves are quite overloaded with all the tasks they’ve been set, and thus the quality of Enfields service is sacrificed to serve the large amount of customers they take on every year. I wish the company the best and have no ill will, but as a student I cannot in good faith recommend this company to my peers.

The best agency I have ever dealt with. I have been renting for 20 years and Enfields are honestly the best agency I have dealt with. My partner and I struggled so much to find a property that was suitable but Shannen was on the ball. And so patient showing us round flat and flat. She always took on board what our needs where and listened to our concerns over flats to ensure she ticked all the boxes for us. And when we found a place, my partner viewed and loved but I missed out. Louise was kind enough squeeze me in to show me round at the end of her day making her late leaving work. The process with getting the property has been so smooth. We had a couple of issues with the reference company but Shannen has been on at them getting it sorted for us. With constant communication from them. My partner and I have had many melt downs at various points but they have always been so reassuring. Shannen has put my mind at ease many times... that woman has the patience of a saint! I cant recommend this agents enough. I don't ever want to rent with anyone else. Honourable mention too to James who always answered the calls so quick and was on the ball passing messages on. And to Annah who took payment quicker then they had planned despite her having a busy day, as that suited us to pay that day. And for coming back and confirming she had received the payment and with an expectation of the next steps and a time frame!! Awesome agency!!

I just want to thank Genevieve Glancy for helped me in the situation i was since last year October 2023. I called on 10/06/24, on 11/06/24 Genevieve called me back saying she had organized for the plumber to come and fix my kitchen tap. I had been calling some of Enfields staff since last year but nothing was happening. I am giving these 5 stars to Genevieve, she is wonderful employee and takes the client's problems as her own. My kitchen tap was replaced because of Genevieve. Thank you, you are a great Enfields employee.

Louise has been superb at keeping us up to date on the progress of our tenancy application. Nothing has been too much trouble for her and she’s so friendly and down to earth that the whole experience has been great. I’d like to mention Annah too, every question asked has been met with the speediest of responses and again, nothing has been too much trouble. We recently rented a home and worked with Louise Harston at Enfields in Shirley. I cannot recommend Louise enough, she is brilliant. Louise answered all our questions quickly, was very accommodating of our schedules for viewings, was honest and just genuinely a lovely person. We're new-ish to the UK and the rental process can be daunting. But Louise and the Enfields team made it very easy, low stress and easy to understand. Highly recommend.

Great service from everyone at Enfields who assisted my partner and I in securing a flat. Shannen was superb and very patient when showing us multiple flats, Louise made an effort to reshow a flat to my partner and Annah was so helpful when Shannen was away, finalising our contracts. Incredibly helpful and very professional. Would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a property.

We have used Enfields lettings for a few years on a property managed level. The fees are decent and competitive with other agents and the service we have received has been very good. They are quick to respond to issues and after 2 years, we just had a turnaround of tenants in and out very quickly, with Enfields arranging the cleaning and maintenance in between very quickly, so it was fresh for the new tenant.

I have just let my property through Enfields Shirley and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the start, it has been an easy and stress free experience with Louise guiding and supporting me through the whole process. Louise’s communication and efficiency has been exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. I have dealt with a number of other lettings agents previously, both good and bad, but it makes such a difference when you find an agent that actually cares, is so personable and takes care of your property as if it were her own. I cannot thank Louise enough and she is an absolute asset to the company. I will only ever use Enfields in the future.
