TrustpilotFLEA INFESTED flat moved in Christmas Day ruined because fleas from previous tenants!
Moved into a FLEA INFESTED flat Fuchsia Grove, Shinfield on 25th December... called Davis Tate when they opened 28 December to say flat is infested with fleas, bitten all over by fleas & we had been up from 11pm - 5:30pm vacuuming and hadn't slept after being at work all day as well!NO APOLOGY and no concern. Was told they'd contact the cleaner to come and clean. Which would definitely not have been on the same day & they showed no remorse and never said sorry for the inconvenience. I agree with the other review, staff are very arrogant. Finally after pushing to stay in a hotel, they called Pest Control and said to the guy “ I think they’re exaggerating.” Pest Control have had to come out twice, since we moved in... the 2nd time a I had 22 bites on one leg , 3 on the other and he found 7 living fleas after the 2nd treatment .I had the washing machine & tumble dryer on for 3 days , and had to stay in a hotel, cancel Christmas and New Year plans as we couldn’t have any visitors. I counted 22 bites on one leg.Almost 2 months after moving in, the faults when we first moved in have still not been fixed, as promised.If this was a private Landlord, they would have been fixed in December before we moved in.Never will I go with an Agency again, worst treatment and experience of renting ever.

GoogleHaving recently experienced ongoing problems with the boiler in my rented property, I am most grateful to the Maintenance Manager Tracie Douglas-Jones for her understanding and efficiency in arranging the necessary checks and work to be carried out. Tracie has been easy to contact when necessary and responsive to my phone calls and emails. It is so important, as a tenant, to know and feel that the Maintenance Manager will respond quickly and contact the Landlord and appropriate tradesmen to arrange a suitable solution for all, in an acceptable time frame.

GoogleMy wife and I recently sold our 5-bedroomed family house with Davis Tate, in order to downsize. For us they were first class in all respects. The house was presented superbly well and we had a lot of viewings very quickly resulting in several offers. We primarily dealt with Jason, the Henley manager, and Vanessa, head of Country and Riverside, who were a real pleasure to deal with, as in fact were all other members of the team at Henley. Once we had accepted an offer, both Jason and Vanessa worked really hard to progress the sale right through to completion, tackling a number of tricky obstacles on the way. They kept us fully informed every step of the way. We bought a new-build property directly from a builder and they both went the ‘extra mile’ in advising us on aspects of our purchase. We would have no hesitation in using Davis Tate Henley again and highly recommend them to others.

GoogleJenny has done a brilliant job in letting my property again. She achieved the asking price and the tenant moved in immediately after my outgoing tenants which saved me a costly void period. She is knowledgeable on the recent changes in legislation and really knows her market. I would not hesitate to recommend her and Davis Tate to other landlords.

GoogleDavid from Davis Tate went above and beyond for us to get this house. It really was an amazing service that was provided. We were going through the Help to buy scheme and it has been the biggest hassle with some of the most nail biting moment we've ever had. Luckily David was on our side, He helped us chase people (Solicitor and Mortgage broker) when they just seemed impossible to contact. Helped us In his own time as we could only view the house on the weekends and if we had any questions about the house he would just pop down there and just check for us. David would always make time and always phone back if we missed him. he was always willing to listen to any concerns and ask around to see if we could resolve these issues. Honestly David Wrigley was the only good part of this whole process, happy, friendly, just wanting to provide a good honest service that wont pressure you into buying, just a genuinely nice person The whole office was always friendly and always a pleasure to visit.
