We cannot rate the excellent service from Julie and her team in Sonning Common highly enough. We put our house on the market in early December 2022 and received an offer within a couple of days. We have had a great experience with Jo at Davis Tate who have great knowledge of the local area . We are in the process of rebuilding our home so needed to find a rental property. I dropped in to the Sonning Common branch of Davis Tate and met with Jo. Within a few days I was already viewing potential rental properties with Jo and she was very good at guiding me through the whole rental process. Jo never took me to see any properties that were inappropriate for our needs (too expensive, only space for a midget) and always thought about how we as a family would fit in to each property. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jo or Davis Tate, they have helped at every step of the way.

Staff are complacent because they have a monopoly in the area so don't have to work hard to get viewings. Understand the client is important but in our experience one senior member of staff was unprofessional and did not keep us informed as potential buyers until property was already under offer. No reason was given for our failure to secure the property even though we all put in 'similar offers'. Concur with previous reviewers about block booking. It almost seemed as if the property had already been promised to someone else so we didn't stand a chance of getting it. The current situation is not bringing out the best in some estate agents!

We were due to visit a house and Julie gave an address that was not registered on google maps with no instructions, went to the postcode and turns out that the postcode was for the whole main street. We frantically tried to find the house as we were unable to contact Julie. She finally turned up at the estate agent and was extremely rude and unprofessional and kept on saying that she had to wait 30 mins for us (we had driven over an hour). She did not once apologise for not giving directions or offered to rebook. Simply unbelievable.NegativeProfessionalism
