Update (7 years later): I first wrote this review below when I bought my home through Lee, and now, 7 years on, I’ve just sold the same property with him, and I can honestly say my opinion hasn’t changed one bit. Once again, Lee was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. His knowledge, professionalism and calm, confident approach made the whole process feel far more manageable than it could have been. What really sets him apart is how proactive he is, he didn’t just sit back and wait for things to happen, he actively drove the entire chain forward when others were dragging their feet, keeping everything on track and making sure the sale completed. It’s rare to find someone so consistent, reliable and genuinely excellent at what they do. Going back to him to sell was an easy decision, and he completely delivered. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lee and Davis Tate, whether you’re buying or selling, you’ll be in the very best hands. Original review: We are first time buyers and have now bought our house through Davis Tate. Having done a large number of house viewings, I have to say that the experience we had with Lee Russell, not just at the viewing but throughout was head and shoulders above our experience with other agents. Really disappointing experience. My partner rented a property that was heavily affected by ongoing anti-social behaviour, which made living there very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the property manager, Bradley Lusted, was often unavailable and extremely difficult to reach when issues needed to be addressed. On top of that, once the tenancy ended there was a significant lack of transparency and communication regarding the deposit. It was unclear what was happening and responses were slow or nonexistent. Overall, the lack of support, communication, and accountability made the whole experience frustrating and stressful.
