David Wrigley - who has taken the meaning of going above and beyond to a whole other level. There have been some extremely tight deadlines to meet and difficult hurdles to get over to ensure this sale was completed on time and David took it upon himself to ensure that everything that could be done -was done ,in a professional and efficient manner. David even went to the extent of driving 3.5 hours in his personal time to hand deliver crucial documents to the relevant vendors to ensure our personal deadlines could be met - it doesn't get any better than that! David continuously provided us with updates, provided us with realistic expectations and always followed through on actions advised and we cannot thank him enough!
Secondly I would like to say thank you to;
Rachel Grimsey - Rachel has also been fantastic throughout this process, she is always so obliging, friendly and happy to help however she can and made us feel very comfortable throughout the process! We cannot thank you both enough!

Very Disappointing!
On their website it is claimed: “Phil’s enthusiasm and passion for exemplary customer service has built him a solid reputation and repeat clients.” I am afraid to say our experience was very different. Let me hasten to say at the outset that I am well aware that the housing market is very sluggish right now and my complaint is not about Davis Tate’s failure to sell our property.
After our first meeting I was very hopeful, as Phil seemed to be living up to his reputation for providing enthusiastic customer service and we agreed to give him sole agency for four weeks. After we had approved the photographs, it was nearly a week before anything appeared online. (With our new agents it took just a couple of hours.) It took another three weeks before our house featured on the advertisement board at the Davis Tate offices in Abingdon. At our initial meeting, we asked, and Phil agreed, to leave a business card each time he brought clients to the house. Not once did this happen. He did bring clients around on a number of occasions but, unless we phoned him and asked, we were never offered any feedback. We had no idea what potential buyers did or did not like.
Just as the 4 week sole agency was about to expire, Phil telephoned to ask if he could bring clients around the following Saturday. Naturally we agreed. The same thing happened the following week, so again we agreed. At this point we were about to go on holiday for 3 weeks so it was not feasible to bring other estate agents on board at that stage. After deciding to reduce the asking price to expedite the sale, my husband went in to see Phil. At this meeting he enquired why no ‘For Sale’ signs had been erected at our property. Phil claimed he hadn’t realised this was the case which, in my view, is unacceptable, it is part of the service one expects and he did have one made within a couple of days.
After returning from holiday, my husband emailed Phil to inform him that we were revoking his sole agency which by this time had lasted for 10 rather than 4 weeks. He did not have the courtesy to respond. Within 48 hours of that email however, our online adverts had been removed and our ‘For Sale’ notice had been removed from the Davis Tate window; in that regard he was very quick and efficient.
So, for all these reasons my advice would be to go elsewhere if you are serious about getting good service and selling your house.
