From the very beginning, Francesca showed perfect knowledge of my village and I really felt she bought something different to my house sale, as I had been with a Newbury based agent before. Francesca Wilkins at Davis Tate Goring went above and beyond to sell my parents' house. They had moved out so she went round every week to check on the house and even took the meter readings for us on completion day. She did an excellent job of selling the village the house was in as well, largely because she lives there. We also had an excellent experience with Sallie Scott. We enjoyed prompt responses and sympathetic communications during a difficult time. We chose to use our own solicitor and everything ran very smoothly between the solicitor and the agents.

We had the best experience buying our first home with David Tate (Henley, Oxfordshire branch). Jo Sutton was wonderful from the get go, she wasn’t pushy or overselling anything to us. When we fell in love with the house and put an offer down, she had it accepted the next day! Jo has been so proactive, empathetic and helpful during this process. She’s helped chase the seller’s solicitors and kept us updated the whole way, she’s made a stressful process that little bit easier just by being with us the whole way. Beware, this is a company for scammer

We bought a property via Davis Tate, and the experience was horrendous. Estate agent was not responsive, it was difficult to agree on a completion date because of lack of answers and when we finally moved in, the seller had completely trashed the place. They've systematically sided with the seller on every issues and slowed down our attempts to recover what was lost.

Tenants and Landloard stay away from Davis Tate!

I have been a tenant managed by Davis Tate since October 2024. In 17 months of tenancy, I have experienced: an exposed electrical socket left unresolved for months until the local council intervened; a chimney problem reported on day one still unresolved 17 months later (a bird entered our home through it); no hot water in the main bathroom for the entire tenancy; three documented gas safety deficiencies on the Gas Safety Certificate left unremedied for over 20 months; and a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate withheld for 13 months after a boiler replacement.

We had a slow start with the house sale mostly due to upcoming election and financial climate in the UK. However when Francesca came to meet me and we agreed for her to manage the sale I knew she was the right person for the job. Her enthusiasm, honest approach and genuine delight in getting the job done was such a breath of fresh air. She assured me she was going to sell my house and she did after a couple of viewings.
