GoogleUsed Country Properties for a recent house purchase. Sasha is truly professional and knowledgeable and often goes above and beyond, especially when the curved ball arrives!! GoogleThe team were so helpful, in particular Sasha who was managing the sale of my buyer's property. We had a complex chain with a some difficult legal issues to sort out. Sasha worked tirelessly to keep the chain together and the whole thing moving. She was so helpful, communicative and friendly - and I was not even her client! Without her hard work, knowledge and dedication, not only would her client's sale have fallen through, but it would have been a disaster for us all the in chain. I also know this was not a one-off as I overheard her having similar conversations in another chain, where she was helping others - not just her own client. We are very grateful and would thoroughly recommend Country Properties.

GoogleWe recently bought our dream house through Country Properties (Ampthill) and although the rest of our journey was fairly bumpy, Sasha at Country Properties was amazing and professional throughout, constantly putting us at ease. GoogleWe used Country Properties for a house sale in the past and I remembered Ken Ravey for his knowledge of the market and sound valuation. This time I knew I didn't need to shop around. During our recent sale, Ken again came out to value the property - nice to see consistency! During the sale process I have always felt with Sasha and her colleagues that we were in very competent, experienced hands which not only managed things from Country Properties' perspective but proactively sought information from buyers, solicitors and estate agents. She also prepared me for completion with things to check to avoid delays. Thank you all at Country Properties Ampthill very much for your endless perseverance and chasing to bring this sale to fruition, and your cheeriness on the other end of the phone!

GoogleSharron helped us get our house with a lot of factors against us. She went above and behind to help us and we finally got approved. GoogleCountry Properties we successful in supporting us with our purchase. The beginning of the process was great with the estate agent being very honest and helpful. Overall, we had a very quick purchase process of just 8 weeks however, towards the later stages, the sales progressor was very pushy and threatened to pull the sale should we not have organised an early exchange/completion date. Moreover, we were limited to the number of viewings at the property and were unable to organise for our architect to conduct his drawings prior to our exchange. The sales progressor was then very abrupt with our solicitor and asked to speak to his supervisor on two separate occasions despite him doing a fantastic job. In future, I would hope they could take a bit more time to respect the overall time scales we were working to.

GoogleWe’ve just bought our first house through Country properties with superb help and support from the team. We received really good service and help from Laura in the initial stages of viewings and finding this property.. then even better support from Tracey for the past few months when we faced a lot of delays with the sellers solicitors. I didn’t even know such a role existed so when all of a sudden I started seeing results from Tracey chasing them it was amazing! My correspondence with her was all through emails but with such quick responses, I was always and constantly kept up to date about what was happening. We definitely would not be picking up our keys this week had it not been for Tracey’s involvement, so a massive thank you to her as well as the team for getting our sale through. GoogleOne star because it won't allow me to give zero. We bought a house through Country Properties and it was a process made much more stressful than it need be by the actions of the so called sales progressor Tracey. We were well down the road with our sale when our offer on our purchase was accepted, according to our agent and solicitors we were ready at our end and were about two weeks from the bottom of the chain being ready to exchange given a normal course of events. Everybody involved in our purchase knew this and we would soon be chain free and probably 3 months away from completing said purchase. The fact that our sale dragged on for another 4 months was incredibly frustrating and certainly not down to us or our team. The hold ups and false promises were at the bottom of our, not particularly long, chain. Throughout the first 3 months Tracey's idea of sales progressing was to constantly email me to ask how our sale was progressing and I would reply telling her what my agent had been told. He had to phone around and probe to get any information he could as to what the delays were, Tracey just asked me. She got involved in an issue we raised with the vendor and I expressly stated we would approach him through our solicitors, but she contacted him and this annoyed me. The emails became more frequent and were occasionally out of hours but always expressing how anxious the vendor was about our delays and false starts (we had to cancel a removal firm 3 times). We were remaining patient with our sale just as our buyer was, our anxiety was brought on by Tracey's involvement. Latterly she was copying our solicitors in on the email but still only asking us where we were at with the sale. She did no phoning down the chain or anything you would expect a professional to do to help ease the process for us innocent homeowners. There were demands that if exchange doesn't happen by a certain date then the vendor will pull out and re-market the property all the while making us feel like the hold up was our fault. Finally, after about 3 months, she copied our agent into the emails who had constantly been trying on our behalf to get answers from other agents and solicitors, the sort of thing she should have been doing for her client and the threats to withdraw continued. She had no consideration for how stressful this was for us and kept reiterating has anxious the vendor was who wasn't even moving, we were buying an empty house with no onward chain! In the end she did phone our agent and he offered to speak to her vendor to explain exactly what was happening as she was just banding around threats to withdraw from the deal and not doing anything proactive. After this Tracey's client would phone our agent because he knew he'd learn more than he would from his own agent because she never bothered to investigate. Finally, when on the day we were absolutely going to exchange we didn't because of an awful error by a solicitor (not ours), she sent another nasty email (at 7.30pm) effectively blaming us and our team for more false promises and that if completion didn't happen within two days.....blah blah blah What an appalling professional, a woman with no people skills who made my life a misery. I became increasingly angry at her involvement and in hindsight should never have responded to her initial email and just told her to contact my agent but this should be common practice to her anyway. I hope I never meet the woman but how would I know? Unsurprisingly her profile picture on the Country Properties website is a cartoon silhouette.NegativeProfessionalism
