GoogleBalgores Romford are quite frankly the best estate agents I have had the pleasure of working with. My review will be extensive and detailed, but to summarise they are dedicated, hard working, diligent, organised, professional and responsive. We struggled with another agent in finding buyers from June 2022 to January 2023, and their buyer pool and due diligence was very poor. I was in contact with the Balgores Branch Manager, Charlie King, who assured me that he could find me a buyer in under a month. Once our property was listed in February 2023, we had a buyer lined up by mid-month. It was astonishing how amazing the team was, their dedicated buyer pool and how quickly we managed to find someone. Marc De La Cruz helped show buyers around our home, and his knowledge and research into the local area was fantastic. Marketing materials were prepared within a few days and our property was listed on nearly every major known website, and we had potential buyers through our door in droves. Once we progressed with the sale, Balgores has an appointed Sales Progressor, Ms Louise Gibson, who is extremely well connected within Havering, very knowledgable about conveyancing and processes, and quite frankly an absolute powerhouse one woman army, with the ability to stay up to date on all her cases, quick to respond to all her messages and emails, and detailed and thorough in her approach. She stays on top of both buyer/seller’s Solicitors, agents, local authorities in a manner I’ve not ever experienced. Louise is strong willed and unyielding in her almost zealot-like drive to obtaining results, in a professional and polite manner, and I cannot sing her praises enough. Charlie King is down to earth, does not present false luring tactics to ensnare potential customers and is a honest hardworking and reliable branch manager who, along with his wider team, provide a stellar service. The sale of our home could not have proceeded as well as it did without Balgores Romford, and we are eternally grateful to Charlie, Marc, Louise and the wider team.

I inherited Balgores when they bought out my property management company, and it has been the worst experience ever. If i could give them zero stars I would. Do not let Balgores manage your property because my experience with them is that they don’t give a damn, and just collect your money every month. An inspection was not done of my rental house in two years, they “forgot” to pay me for three months, and then when I requested my rent they shorted me a month until I requested they rectify it, they have charged me double for repairs, won’t give me copies of documents because “they are in storage”, and don’t attend to hazardous items on property inspections until you bring them to their attention, etc. It has just been a complete nightmare!!!!!Update March 2024I requested that I get my property back in March 2022, via an email to Paul Loding, regional lettings manager. I don't believe that initiated the process because he never responded to my request. Six months later, I made the same request to Amanda Farmer, and I believe that she got the ball rolling. I have a 12 month lease with a clause stating that I would get my property back with the tenants rehoused in approximately 60 days. It is 2 years later, and I keep being told that the council has nowhere to put the tenant. I have not had an increase in my rent in 8 years so I know that I am not getting the fair market value in rent. I feel that I have been misled because I was not told that the 60 days could be two years or more, as far as getting my house back vacant, as I would never have signed up for that. It is as though it is not my property. I am very upset as I cannot sell my property as I had planned. Their resolution is to advise me to get a solicitor! I would advise everyone not to enter into any letting contracts with Balgores. Furthermore, I am not getting copies of contractor invoices that I have been asking for since October of 2023. I don't know why that is an issue with Balgores, as the previous company was transparent and would freely provide me with contractor invoices promptly.

Right from the initial contact and valuation Michael was first class and kept me regularly updated with progress, even if there was nothing to report. Fantastic team and i would not hesitate to recommend if you are thinking of selling

Extremely unprofessional, like others have similarly experienced, they do not respond to email enquiries nor telephone calls. Rather u helpful and abrupt when you contact on their social media and only reply on there as it’s a public platform. I will never recommend this business and I will make sure others know how they act towards potential tenants, maybe they discriminate against a certain group, who knows. But sadly, a very negative experience and for that I will never recommend this company. They also then remove any comments with negative experiences shared on their social media.
