GoogleI recently tried to arrange a viewing of a property, I contacted them on Friday and they called me back on the Saturday as I was heading out the door so told Gem I would call her back in an hour when I was on the train. When I called nobody answered so I left a message amd nobody bothered to phone me back. On Tuesday I sent another request and got a call on Wednesday morning which I missed so called back at lunch time and left a message with a man and nobody returned my call. I called again Wednesday evening and left a message with someone for Gem to call me back and she never did. I just phoned AGAIN to organise a viewing only to be told they weren't taking anymore appointments for viewings. So annoying as if someone had bothered to come back to me in the first place this wouldn't have happened. She asked if I would like to be put on a list in case anything else came up but I don't think I'll bother, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for someone to phone.

GoogleI don’t normally right reviews but I feel on this occasion that it’s a must , Austin & Wyatt from the first phone call regarding a property to let in lyndhurst we’re wonderful , polite , helpful and I said straight away I really hope we find a property with you guys , lyndhurst wasn’t the one for us but every week I’d call to see if any new property were about and eventually found our dream home in Beauliue, Gem who showed us around was just lovely so warming and helped us from the moment we said yes to the house. All the references were done and completed in just a week and was so easy stress free to complete .I’m really happy for this fresh start in new location and know that I have a nice agency to call if there is any problem. GoogleWe've received a very professional service from Richard and his team. We approached A+W to take over the management of a difficult tennancy. Where we had not been able to gain access to carry out an inspection, Richard persisted and managed to complete one which gave us valuable information to support our future application to the Courts for possession. As part of this process, Richard served a Section 21 Notice and afterwards gave us valuable guidance and support throughout the Courts process. Would highly recommend Richard and his team for anyone considering using them A+W letting services.

GoogleCouldn’t recommend Sarah and Rebecca at Lyndhurst branch for all their hard work they’ve done helping us buy our dream house. Nothing is too much trouble and always been happy and willing to help. Very reassuring especially through this crazy market we are in. I will certainly be using them to sell IF we ever have to move. ! No hesitation in recommending.

GoogleConsider every negative thing you could say about estate agents generally and you would be pretty close to describing Austin & Wyatt Lyndhurst. Twice we have had offers accepted on properties they were marketing. Twice we have had our time wasted by the vendors because Austin and Wyatt did not manage the process or people at all. Our chain has collapsed once so far because of them and maybe for a second time now. We have wasted thousands in fees, searches, and surveys, all for nothing. We are no closer to moving to be near elderly family members in poor health, and are having to rearrange schools again at the last minute. It’s devastating and unsettling and Austin and Wyatt could not care less. They tell barefaced lies - after the first time we were messed around and our chain collapsed, we made it very clear that we did not want upper chains - we desperately needed a vacant possession. They assured us that the second house we had our offer accepted on was no upper chain. It then transpired the vendors were contemplating which of two houses they may wish to purchase, which Austin and Wyatt obviously knew. It turned out that neither was suitable for them, so the vendors pulled out but not before we had wasted time, money and risked our own sale once more. They are lazy - you, the purchaser, constantly have to chase them, and rarely speak to the same person twice. Often, they have no idea who you are or what you want as ‘the system isn’t working’. Emails do not get replied to, and even the office phone frequently isn’t answered inside business hours - astonishingly slack in a business that relies upon the telephone. How hard is it to forward the line to somebody so calls get answered? They are incompetent. Basic sales techniques such as qualification of the buyer’s and seller’s motivations are absent, so half the properties they are marketing aren’t really for sale, it seems. They lack knowledge of the properties they are marketing - they didn’t even know how many bedrooms one of the houses we were viewing had, and assured us one bedroom was en-suite - it wasn’t. The written descriptions, measurements, and photography are totally unrepresentative. If they ever get a sale to exchange and completion it must be purely by coincidence. I prevaricated about posting this review since we are searching again and I dislike burning bridges but I would not even contemplate any property they were marketing now. Why people continue to use them for their sale is a complete mystery.

Kept us up to date as the sale went through. They were really helpful as we went through the process as it was all new to us. Can’t praise them enough. Excellent.

GoogleThis agency is really good. Through the renting process I had interactions with Mrs Gem, Mr Richard and Mrs Louise. They are very kind, polite, and answered and explaned every question I had. They work quickly to get all paperwork sorted, so you can move in flat/house soon.

GoogleI've recently found a home to let with Austin & Wyatt and found the process to be so straightforward compared to previous agents I have used. Being a small team, it was lovely to phone up and have either Richard, Gemma or Louise instantly know who I was and the house I was talking about. Communication was efficient throughout the process and the move was smooth sailing thanks to the great team :) Would definitely look to let/buy with A&W in future with particular thanks to this branch.
