We had a viewing arranged with Jared last week, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with his service. Jared went above and beyond to accommodate us, booking the viewing outside of normal working hours and, when we got stuck in traffic, kindly waited for us on a Friday evening. He then spent a great deal of time at the property with us, never making us feel rushed. He was friendly, informative and, most importantly, very honest and transparent, which we really appreciated. He explained lots about the property and the process involved and was incredibly helpful throughout. Jared is a real credit to the team and is a great example of excellent customer service. In the space of one calendar month since the last tenant moved out, Yvonne and Amber have found and moved in a new tenant for my rental property. This was fantastic service from the start: Yvonne is reassuring, professional and efficient. Both Yvonne and Amber have a friendly, empathetic manner and dealt with any query I had really quickly. Austin Wyatt Winchester came round my property without asking and let themselves in. When’inspecting’ they take many photos and videos of my possessions, excessive, like 20 pictures per room. 2 x 2h viewings conducted whilst I was living there. Confirmed by Josh, the ‘manager’ my house was ‘as it was 12m ago’ then claim for a load of lies. The manager broke data protection by discussing the previous Tennant with me as there was a dispute, funnily enough. Renting is bad enough, if you have to do it avoid these lot.

The Austin & Wyatt team in Lyndhurst with Rebecca Payne, Madeleine King, and Mike Lawrence are absolutely excellent. They masterfully sorted the marketing and sale of our special property and handled the viewings with professional protocols. Very good. But they also went on to handle the complex process of getting from offer to Exchange of Contracts. Not easy with hiccups in the chain and with some solicitors not up to the job. But Madeleine kept us informed, chased those not performing and really helped us keep cool when all was very stressful. Having had to interact with other Estate Agents, in our search for a new property, you observe how poor some other Agents perform. Austin & Wyatt are in a different league. Very professional and great communicators with each other and with their clients. Would use this team again and again. John

Rebecca Payne was very helpful and energetic during our sale of a house in Lyndhurst. They did overvalue the house when we were looking for a estate agent and then almost immediately told us that the market had changed and we should drop the price which I suspect is routine (irritating) behaviour. Also they heartily recommended their own lawyers, Howell's for conveyancing (who were difficult to contact and could not make international phone calls ?!?! - we live in Canada). It was only after starting the conveyancing paperwork that it became apparent the Austin Wyatt receive several hundred pounds for the referral. Would use them again as Rebecca was great, but would find my own lawyers for conveyancing.

Want to know what an excellent village-based estate agent looks like? Look no further than Austin & Wyatt in Lyndhurst High Street. They have been here a very long time and are now a fundamental part of the village ‘backbone’. Their amazing branch manager, Sarah, has a fantastic team - everyone is friendly, supportive, customer-focused and efficient and always willing to help in whatever way they can. They have the full suite of property services under one roof, property valuations, sales, lettings, mortgages - and their mortgage broker, Jayne, is a complete genius! In my particular case, Austin & Wyatt at Lyndhurst have been outstanding, they have provided me with so much assistance regarding my property and all the wider issues, I just can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done. We purchased a property through Austin & Wyatt and from the initial inquiry to picking up the keys we received excellent communication (with us and the Estate Agent selling our property etc.) and service. I know that it is a whole team effort to market and sell a property but would like to single out Madeleine for her professionalism and commitment when the problems cropped up (which they do). Michael was very helpful at the introduction. We chose A&W over three other local agents. However, things went drastically wrong after that. The photography (a 'professional' photographer in a tearing hurry) was very poor; lots of overexposure, and failed to actually capture the relevant features (eg stools chopped in half at breakfast bar, missed a feature wall, and had to be called back from the road for missing photos). When the Particulars were sent the photos were unsatisfactory. A&W said they would correct this, but when particulars were resent - they sent the same photos even though we had discussed and approved other photos for use - including some that we took ourselves, to supplement the poor ones. There appears to be little communication between the staff, and even less with the clients. As a result we decided not to continue with this agent having lost faith: if they couldn't even get the particulars right, what sort of service would they be able to provide further down the line? Would not recommend.

Where we had not been able to gain access to carry out an inspection, Richard persisted and managed to complete one which gave us valuable information to support our future application to the Courts for possession. As part of this process, Richard served a Section 21 Notice and afterwards gave us valuable guidance and support throughout the Courts process.
