PLEASE READ - Do not go with reeds rains

We moved into a property November 2023, our family were told that the landlords wanted long term tenants so we thought this fit us really well. We were not in any position to be moving anywhere for a very long time. Every six months we had Reeds Rains come over to inspect that the house was being taken care of, in every report we were considered "immaculate Tenants" because we are very clean and we take care of things. One Reeds Rains staff member even said that our house was the best he had seen so far. We were living in this house happy, with a one year old growing up in a gorgeous area, and another one on the way due In MAY 2025. Just before Christmas, the Landlords decided they wanted to sell, so we were given notice to vacate the property and had been given 6 months to do so, this lands on my due date! Not only was our perfect year totally scrambled by these inconsiderate people, the Landlords and Reeds Rains lied to us about wanting "Long term tenants" because their next door neighbour had told us they were trying to sell before putting it up for rent, long term tenants was never a long term plan. 12 months we had in that home, and our world came crashing down on us. That isnt even the cherry on the cake... we decided to vacate soon after Christmas, we did not want to waste any more time, so once we had moved out, a report was done on how the house had been left.... low and behold, it was suddenly not up to reed rains standards even though it had been perfect previously? They picked at every little detail in the house, silly things like a single wire being left in one of the bedrooms considered "damage". Clearly, this was their way of getting every last bit of deposit out of us as we had decided to vacate sooner than they would have liked! Reeds Rains were considerably unsupportive and I would urge you to avoid them at all costs, they well and truly lured us into a false sense of security and the turned our world upside down within 12 months. Money orientated, not client focused at all. AVOID!

I was looking for my new property saw the one I’m currently in and loved it! What made it even better was how Reed Rains dealt with it especially Kayleigh! She dealt with everything for me made it a smooth process and was on hand for any questions or worries I had in regards to the tenancy! Now moving in and so so happy! Could not thank Kayleigh enough she even stayed late after work time to give me the keys! ☺️ I would 100% recommend Reed Rains to help you find your new home.
