GoogleWe engaged Urban & Rural (Ampthill office), late September 2022. We were looking for our early retirement apartment in the Ampthill area. Amy showed us to an apartment which fitted our requirements perfectly. On the onset, Amy and Georgina were amazing and very supportive with updates, and visits to our prospective new apartment. The whole process was very smooth with regular updates from both Amy and Georgina, which resulted in a successful exchange of contracts and completion. Our grateful thanks to them both and the Ampthill branch of Urban & Rural .

GoogleInitially had Darren and Mechella to value our house and they were professional, well prepared and became our main contact throughout the sale. All staff in the Leighton Buzzard branch were excellent. Darren was always on top of any potential issues and was aware of any issue arising from the sale of our property and the property we were buying, liaising with other agents and solicitors. Would certainly recommend Urban and Rural to anyone considering selling their house in the Leighton Buzzard area.

GoogleI can’t sing the praises enough of Andrew and the team at the Leighton Buzzard branch of Urban & Rural. Today I had to make the awful and dreaded decision of pulling out of my sale & purchase due to the massive hike in interest rates and cost of living having a impact on the affordability of the property purchase. Andrew was incredible, dealing with the news sympathetically and fully understanding the reasoning behind my decision. What potentially could have been a very awkward conversation ended up being one that made me feel better and confirmed that I had indeed picked the right estate agent. When this crazy world calms down, I know without question that I will be back in touch with them - that will save me time getting three valuations! Thank you so much to all the team for their care and respect during the whole process. If you think estate agents are all sharks - you can have confidence that these guys are far from that.

The whole process was made much less stressful by the fact we could easily contact Darren and Michella who would look into updates and get back to us promptly. Even after the move, we still had no issues contacting them for any slight issues we had regarding the property contents.

GoogleHighly recommend Urban and Rural who helped us with our first property purchase. From the initial viewing, to helping us secure our offer (which was closed, so we followed their guidance) to putting us in touch with Amanda at Home Start Legal (who was a great communicator and very friendly), it's been a great experience. We were given a lovely home welcome pack when we collected the keys. We would definitely look to work with them again.

Currently sat in a property owned and rented out by the Stopsley branch, with water pouring in to an already damp and mouldy living room. Constant leaks, damp and mould issues every month that I have lived here. Owner harrassed me by phone to the extent I have had to insist on written correspondence. When I report further leaks and water pouring in, soaking the carpet, walls, curtains & my furniture, the owner simply tells me -"if you are so unhappy I am happy for you to break the contract and move out at the end of the month to end all of this." I think any tenant paying almost £1000 a month for a property riddled with leaks and issues would be unhappy. Especially when said tenant has a 5 month old baby who is continuously getting sick from the cold and damp. The latest leak was reported in February. We are now in April and the repairs have still not been carried out & rather than deal with it, I am pushed to end the tenancy early despite me being on maternity leave & pay. Incredibly disappointed and exhausted by the treatment and lack of care received. Would not reccomend renting a property from this branch, especially if the owner - Neil McGregor is also the landlord.

Have now used Urban &Rural twice to sell a property, First was the Leagrave branch in 2011, the second was the Bedford branch in 2022. The service for both properties was outstanding providing help and advice through all stages of the sale. Both properties sold within 2 weeks. I've even used the Bedford branch to view houses, and yet again outstanding where other agents have been poor. Urban & Rural seem to be consistent in the way they deal with customers from being polite, but also honest. There is no pressure to use them, buy a property or additional services. The whole process was smooth without any stress. I can't recommend them enough, and certainly will use them again to sell a property. Keep up the good work.

GoogleFirst I had to chase them for viuw a house, because they dont contact to me after my first email Second they push you to use their morgates advisers and if you dont want use theirs, they asking you many personal questions and after they call you to cancel the viuw because you are not good enogh. Yes! like that! Run away from this agency!!NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI brought a house that was listed with Urban and Rural and they were truly amazing from start to finish. I mainly dealt with Katy, who jumped through hoops to help, and definitely went above and beyond to get us to completion. She was always quick with responses, friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Everyone else I spoke to at U&R were always super lovely too, including Darren and Ian. Overall, I would highly, highly recommend. I feel very grateful that I had Urban and Rural throughout the buying process, and wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future.
