We are not exaggerating when we state that Nathan has been one of the best agent we ever dealt with (and we moved around quite a lot!). In a nutshell we owe Nathan at least a drink! Nathan has been Incredibly understanding, available, friendly and professional. He showed us many very nice and suitable flat, in budget and always incredibly close to our requirements. It has been only unlucky that we could not close the deal with him because at the end we decided to move in a different area. Thank you Nathan for all your efforts!

View AgentsTypical estate agent wanting money for old hat (nothing)
It's worth considering using an estate agent with more appropriate fees. To renew our contract it costs £180, an extortionate fee in which virtually no work is done by Thorgills. To add insult they didn't even provide good service as they initially wrote my name as "Thomas Cook". I presume the agent was thinking about spending the £180 on a holiday.

Hello Tom, Thank you for your feedback. As you know, the charges for the renewal of a tenancy are clearly stated within the tenancy agreement you signed. There is significant work involved in the process of a renewal which includes re-lodging deposits, agreeing any new terms, producing new tenancy agreements and of course, the cost of a renewals consultant. I do however apologise for the error with your name, even award winning agents make mistakes sometimes. :)

My girlfriend and I were looking to rent a 1 bed flat in Brentford, Isleworth or Chiswick. We got in contact with Anthony and he directed us to a couple of flats. 34 Stile Hall Mansion was a great flat but initially over budget. Anthony indicated that this could be negotiated down and invited us to view the flat. He gave a great viewing, was very friendly and answered all of our questions in full. Anthony was always clear in what he was telling us and the next steps required were easy to understand. My partner and I agreed that this has been the best service we have received from a lettings agent throughout our letting history. Up to our current stage of the proposed tenancy, which is the referencing stage, we are yet to find fault with the service provided by Thorgills.

I had rented an apartment for me and my family with Thorgills, Brentford. The entire experience Thorgills Sales team followed by Customer Relations and Property Managers was exceptional and which helped us to finalize the property.. Tomek Cole from Sales showed us the properties and he knew exactly what we were looking for. He was transparent and honest which helped us to work with him for our selection though we were chased by other property dealers. There were iniitial hiccups with our request for beds which were fabulously managed by Fiona Duncan and her team. She did not leave any stone unturned to do the right thing and ensured we were comfortable with our choice of beds and went to the extent of replacing the beds till we were satisfied of our choice. Paris Kerrison was very thorough and transparent with the inventory check in and ensured that things were properly documented. Rachel Flynn, the property manager walked us through the property and the workings of the appliances. She was very prompt in answering the nitty gritty of things and interacted with the landlord to get us the answers back. I am extremely happy that Thorgills Brentford was the right choice for our property hunt.

Don't use this estate agent if you don't wish for your personal data to be passed onto complete strangers by mistake. Today I received a stranger's tenancy agreement complete with all her personal details and the personal details of her landlord. I seriously dread to think how they are storing and using my data. Who's hands have my personal details ended up in?!

Having only met the staff from the Hammersmith branch briefly during a viewing, I can honestly say I have never met a more personable agent in Andrew - also the only agent to make a good conversation and be incredibly helpful with any silly questions I may have had. Probably the nicest agent I've ever met!

View AgentsImpressive agents but slow to reference and finalise your offers
Very impressed with our agent, Karim, who had our offer accepted quickly and gave us all the information we needed and let us know the next steps. He was easy to get hold of and was happy to speak to us even out of hours. However, referencing staff were extremely slow and poor communicators which caused us a huge amount of stress and worry before our move. Poor service on their side of things certainly doesn't justify their hefty agency fees.
