Our experience with this letting agent was quite frustrating and disappointing. We viewed a property, made an offer, and it was accepted by the landlord, gave the holding deposit. Everything seemed to be moving forward, but then the referencing process through Goodlord became a major issue. Their criteria felt extremely rigid, and despite providing all the information requested and trying every possible way to resolve things, the referencing kept getting rejected. Goodlord kept saying the agent needed to decide, while the agent said it was up to Goodlord, leaving us stuck in the middle with no clear answers. We were even willing to pay six months’ rent upfront, as suggested by the agent. Then the landlord suddenly delayed the move-in date. We had already given notice to our current landlord, so this put us in a very difficult position. After several follow-ups, we were finally told that the landlord no longer wanted to proceed because there might be “another delay,” yet no proper explanation or direction was ever given. Overall, the whole experience was handled very poorly. We’re still not sure who was responsible, Goodlord, the agent, or the landlord, but the lack of clarity, communication, and support made the process incredibly stressful. This is not how things should be managed.

I've called 3 times requesting the removal of signage, it's still up 2 weeks later after being up for months on end. Signage is banned here and it's also on a highway road. I'll be informing all the relevant authorities if it's not removed by the end of the day (8/3). The manager Dan said it would be gone by Wednesday 6th at the latest, still a whole week overdue. And if you damage the fence, expect a bill for it. EDIT: What is the point of your response? Just take down the sign.

As a landlord experience has taught me that the person handling my property can make such an enormous difference. Abbie Lomo-Dash is that person. She is on top of any issue before you can even say Urgent! I get first class quotes, daily updates (sometimes many mails a day in the middle of a big project), and all with a smile. Just today I was ready and expecting to pay for a repair only to be informed by Abbie that she has persuaded the tenants to pay 100% of the costs. I almost get the feeling that she is a part owner in the property! How rare is this feeling of partnership today, and it's very important for me to have as this flat is my most important investment.

A big thank you to Ryan and the Brentford team who helped us throughout the sale of our flat. They gave the flat a competitive, but realistic valuation and were quick to ensure it got to market with great photos. They were always on the end of the phone if ever we had any questions, and we were particularly grateful how proactive and solution focused they were when our first buyer pulled out. We got another buyer within days which allowed us to proceed with the move and not break the chain. They are slightly more expensive compared to other agents but we feel extremely worth the money given the excellent customer service from start to finish. We would 100% recommend them.
