Alice has worked with us to handle the admin for the rental of our property. She has done this quickly and efficiently, and Thorgills have taken just 4 weeks from appointing them to having a tenant move in. The only item we were unhappy about was the quality of the cleaning. We raised this with Alice and she addressed it to our satisfaction within 24 hours, which is a level of responsiveness that is hard to beat. We are submitting this review now that our tenants are installed in the property and all Thorgills activities have been completed. We are renting out a property in London for the first time, though we rent out properties elsewhere. We decided to go with Thorgills as we felt that they had good experience in our locality (Chiswick-Hammersmith), and a very practical approach. We have been impressed with how quickly they have moved. It took just 4 weeks from appointing Thorgills to having tenants move in. The rent achieved is a good but fair market rent for the area. Our sense is that Thorgills have been very thorough with all the checks and admin processes., and found the right balance for both landlord and tenant.. Consequently, we would recommend Thorgills to both landlords and tenants. Andrew W

We had a brilliant experience of using Thorgills to find our first flat! When we turned up to view a property we were greeted by a friendly, knowledgable and engaging agent, Andrew. He showed us around the property and was able to answer all our questions. They made the paperwork process easy and we had our offer accepted the very same day. Since we have moved in the follow up has been supportive and when problems have cropped up they have been solved in 24 hours. We'd highly recommend Thorgills to anyone!

Where do I even begin. Never contact you once you've paid them money. Always have to be chased. Staff are young and have no knowledge of the properties they are 'managing', meaning they are unable to answer even the simplest of questions. Accused us of giving false guarantor information when it was an administration mistake on their end. Tried to force us to have a 'lead tenant' and one guarantor between 4 tenants which was ridiculous. To top it all off, 11 days before our move in date, the first time they contacted the landlord we later found out despite having made the offer 3 months ago, the landlord withdrew from the process and they charged us £200 and said there was nothing they could do for us. We also found the property we were meant to be renting listed elsewhere a month after we'd signed our contract.. Avoid them like the plague.

Valentino was kind enough to show us a flat, that was past the branches closing time. Very professional & friendly whilst showing us round and informative about any questions we had. After viewing the flat, we wanted to make an offer straightaway, which he had no problems sorting out, getting all the paperwork successfully set up without delay. He gave us clear explanations about the details of the fees, how much was to be paid and by what date.before our moving in date. Would definitely recommended him to anyone looking for a place to rent.
