Sam went the extra mile to give assistance when it was needed and has excellent local knowledge, which was very helpful to me as I don't live in the area. In March 2019 I gave King & Chasemore a real challenge. Following the death of my mother I had to sell her detached bungalow which was in need of substantial renovation and one of the earliest properties built in Saltdean in 1925. The Executive Branch Manager (Susie Virgo) initially attended our first meeting and took the necessary photos and general details. I was very impressed with her marketing of the property. As there was substantial asbestos in the roof I knew it would be a difficult property to sell and would need a cash buyer as mortgage facilities would not be favourable. However she found the right person and I am looking forward to seeing the subsequent redevelopment. Susie Virgo kept me in touch with progress throughout the sale. Before contacting K&C I had spoken to another local agency who gave me a valuation £115k lower than what K&C sold the property for. So ultimately very impressed with K&C's service. Highly recommend. We bought our house in Saltdean in August 2019. We previously had a vendor pull out two weeks before exchange on a different property and we had to act quickly to ensure we did not lose our buyers. The service from Susie and King and Chasemore was instrumental to ensure that we did not lose our buyers. She made sure all of the relevant parties were informed and pushed the process along (without being pushy!). Under a new manager now from what I hear. Was an absolute nightmare when we dealt with them. They refused to submit our offer on a house because we didn't take out a mortgage through their adviser. With a village, people.talk.to each other. Owner of the property would have accepted as it was more than anything advised to him by KAC.
