GoogleRachel was great to deal with, often it is hard for me to take calls during the day at work but she was flexible with communication, always kept me up to date on email and was happy to take a late night call if needs be! I would highly recommend John D Wood Richmond to friends and family

GoogleMy wife and I had the pleasure of meeting with Chloe in our quest for a small house to live in. My wife was growing tired of agents not listening to her specifications. One phone call with Chloe and my wife was told there was only 1 house for her. She viewed it and we moved in ten days later! To say Chloe nailed it would be an understatement. She listened, was calm and highly efficient. Chloe is a lovely lady and an attribute to John D Wood,which in turn is a top tier Estate Agents, no surprise why.

GoogleI recently had the absolute pleasure of purchasing a flat through John D Wood in Richmond. Right from my first viewing the guys were so helpful, informative, efficient and so easy to deal with. Simon went above and beyond what I thought would be obliging of an agent, he made the process so smooth and for a first time buyer, it was so reassuring to have someone to guide you through the process. I can't recommend both Simon Philp and Edward Hall highly enough for anyone in the area looking to buy or sell a property.

GoogleIt was a pleasure working with everyone at John D. Wood. All were very helpful and very courteous. From initial viewing of our flat to taking possession of the keys only took a week. The agents at John D Wood were very quick and efficient at getting all the paperwork in order. Overall my girlfriend and I had a very good experience, and would highly recommend this estate agency. GoogleJack Thomas did a fantastic job on the sale of a flat we purchased in Richmond. We were really impressed by how diligently he followed up on our enquiries and managed all the parties involved. He took a very balanced and reasonable view on what was a relatively complicated transaction. Jack's client was lucky to have him acting for him and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Jack to work on a future sale of our property.

GoogleI have only presented them with one star as otherwise I was unable to post this. Incredibly unhelpful and indolent. Throughout our tenancy we experienced problem after problem due to a total lack of care and attention to detail (moving in with no hot water as no one at John D Wood checked our boiler function). Upon departing, we were advised by one of their supposedly senior staff, to leave our sofas behind. Our landlady rightfully insisted on a deduction from our deposit to have these removed, as he failed to communicate this information out of pure laziness. After several rude and belligerent conversations, he conveyed his lack of understanding of manners, or any form of liability, legally and morally, and refused to accept responsibility for his ill-advised emails. John D Wood fulfilled all characteristics of the archetypal estate agent, interested only in reaping and extoring the maximum amount of financial gain out of tenants and landlords and a dismissal of the protection of rights of both parties, in his pinstripe suit.

GoogleThe team was very attentive throughout the letting process, helping get us from first viewing to keys in hand in less than 5 days! They've been flexible with their time, and provided more explanation than my previous agent. Their letting agreement is stricter than I would prefer, but in my case, the landlord has had a bit of leeway. Will update in the future pending how they manage the property!

She has been amazing in the flat search, understanding exactly what my needs were and advising me very efficiently to guarantee I got the flat I wanted. She has worked beyond what was required from her to make sure my references and other documents were validated. She was fully committed and tried her best to make the process work. GooglePoor managment poor communications No team work money driven Do not trust them I will even if I see a house I want to buy with them do my utmost not to buy it through them - very bad experience through lettings

GoogleJD Wood had tried unsuccessfully to let my flat at the start of the year. We then agreed for them to take it off the market while I did holiday let's and put it back on the market in September. They just got hold of me to ask if I had any gaps to show people around. I replied giving them dates but saying I wasn't aware of them having it on the market. They replied saying it was just on the internal website. This I found out to be untrue as it was also on rightmove and had never been taken off. It was on the last page as by now very stale. For a flat that had never had a void and is letting very well on short let's it's not very good to of not had any show arounds till now for several months when it was meant to be off the market. I won't be using JD Wood in the future.

I was slightly tight on time to move-in and Stephania endeavoured to make sure all the necessary was done prior to that.
