This was our second time working with Jane at John D Wood and she was again the best in the business. We bought our flat through her 4 years ago and she sold it this summer within 4 days of listing it. The listing photos were brilliant and Jane is just a superstar in every way, not only getting the right buyer through the door at record speed but helping push the sale through at every turn so we completed 3 months after we accepted the offer. Advice on sale of flat

I went to the Docklands branch and spoke to Tushar about the sale of my property. A very constructive meeting - Tushar clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience, which really put me at ease, (thankfully, as I know from experience how stressful selling one’s home can be). I came away with a good idea of how I want to move forward and checklist of the things that need to be done. Just moved in to rented accommodation, a process that was made extremely easy by the very helpful, Scarlett. Enquired one evening, had a call the next day and then a viewing the following day. We had lots of questions and Scarlett was there at all times to answer them. Scarlett kept us in the loop throughout the process and even after moving in she checked in daily. Highly recommend JDW going forward. We mentioned we would be looking to eventually buy and even then Scarlett was able to provide some assistance. We have been renting out our house for a very long time and our most recent experience of finding and preparing for new tenants has been the best by far. Katherine and Sardar at the St Margaret’s office proved hugely valuable guides to what was needed at each stage. Katherine steered us expertly from the initial marketing through all the legal and regulatory requirements for the new tenancy (they seem to change every time!) to the final move-in. Meanwhile Sardar pulled out all the stops to get the house refurbished in time for the move-in date. In just a few weeks, he identified available contractors, arranged quotes for work, oversaw progress, and ensured the house was ready on time. Both Sardar and Katherine were excellent at keeping us informed of each new development. Crucially, they were also easy to reach when we needed additional help and advice. They each brought their own high standards and expertise to bear on the making of this tenancy and we have been very pleased with the result.

The worst, if I can give negative one I would. I went to see the property with their agent Alex in Twickenham. When I put down an offer they gave me the document and asked to put down the deposit on the same day as the landlord requested and we made the payment. Later on Monday Alex texted saying the Landlord is asking for more money to which I refused as its not the way or against the principal to walk away from a done deal. They said they will refund my holding deposit Seems like a scam they took the deposit and still haven't returned it to me. Now due to them I cannot put deposit for my next property. Do not trust them they're incompetent and still haven't refunded me. Eager to take the money but not to refund.
