GoogleThis company is crazy about deposit. When we ending our lease, they found someone changing bulb with labour fee £170+VAT. We had professional cleaning before returning the flat, but they somehow clean it again with £375. Also, there's £200 checkout fee coming from nowhere. I report this company. Everyone pls be careful.

GoogleExtraordinary experience with Umar Bryce at John D Wood today. Unlike most property agents who are trying hard to sell what they have to you, Umar started from the other side of the table by understanding what his customer was looking for. He spent over 1 hr on the phone helping me to get a feel of South Kensington area and discussing with me the pros and cons of different choices. At the end of the call, we both understood much better what I was looking for thus enabling us to move more effectively and efficiently towards a deal in the future. Umar also won my trust through his professionalism and his customer-oriented approach. As a result of the call, I cancelled a viewing with another agent, which I had booked prior to the call with Umar and I decided to follow Umar's guidance in seeking my ideal property in South Kensington area as I felt his customer-oriented approach brings much more value to me than any other agents I came across so far. For anyone who is looking for a property in this area, I highly recommend Umar Bryce at John D Wood.

GoogleI am in the process of relocating to London for work, and had reached out to Talisa from the JDW South Kensington office to set up a tour of a property we’d found on Zoopla. Talisa showed up and had proactively arranged tours of a half-dozen similar apartments in various South Kensington neighborhoods at a similar price range and specification. While the apartment we’d asked to view was exactly as advertised, Talisa used that example to find us even better options throughout the area. She was professional and informative throughout, and gave us a lot of helpful information about renting in London more generally, as well as the neighborhood. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her or the JDW South Kensington office again, and had a very positive experience.

GoogleI was moving to London last minute, the company and specially the agent who was handling my account helped me a lot. Tania was able to find me a great flat, I wasn’t in London at the time and she did her best to visit the property and show it to me while I was abroad. She was of great help in terms of payments, right to rent and move in dates. She made the process very easy for me and convenient. This company should be your first option when looking for houses on zoopla or rightmove as they greatly assist after you move in.

She was honest, reliable, accountable, and service-oriented. The first property of interest fell through, and she was remarkable in sourcing a number of similar high-end properties that were within budget, in the exact locations, and had the right features I was looking for. She communicated often and with great energy across the process and helped me eventually find a perfect match without any pressure. Her friendly professionalism & local knowledge were so helpful to us, as we are new to living in the UK. The other staff we met were very welcoming. Very disappointing overall experience with John D. Wood. Property managers who simply don't care and go AWOL when you email or call with a query or issue you need help with. Took far too long and proably broke the law in terms of the time between us moving out and getting our deposit back. Would not recommend as a result of our experience. If you work there at a senior level then your staff need some management training and your whole organisation needs to up it's game.

GoogleWe approached John D Wood (Alexandra “Ally” James and Ed Coxhead) about a rental in Chelsea that they were advertised on Rightmove. A week later, everything was signed and sealed! They were absolutely phenomenal: they arranged for a viewing within hours of our call, followed up with answers to all our questions with amazing speed and all the time they were absolutely delightful. When we went in to their office to sign the lease commitment we met their colleagues who all came over to say hello to our dog and who were equally delightful and friendly. To be honest, we didn’t think anyone could move this fast but they delivered. Absolutely outstanding!

GoogleIf I could leave no stars I would! Absolutely worst agency I have ever dealt with ! They have not been answering our emails or assisting us in anyways since our landlord gave us notice to leave the flat. We would have liked to know our rights as we have paid fees to this agency or at least to reply to our emails out of common courtesy. As soon as you move in they literally ignore you completely. Don’t bother !
