GoogleI would like to commend the service at John D. Wood to anyone looking to purchase a property in Oxford. I had used other agents in a four year search for a property and was unable to find anything suitable. In a desperate frame of mind, I spotted a property for sale with JDW. The guidance and service that followed was unexpected as I had sold my own property through another agent. JDW guided me through the purchase with efficiency and good humour and excellent guidance. I was particularly helped by Annie Crum whose advice on a number of particular problems was invaluable. I am now very happily settled in the house they enabled me to purchase. and remain grateful for every piece of advice that came from this agency. S. Wilson, Oxford

GoogleHaving had my house on the market for three months with an online agent, with no offers, I researched the track record of High Street agents in the Summertown area and discovered that John D Woods rated as the fastest at selling properties in recent months. Their fees were reasonable and they lived up to their record on speed. I accepted an offer within three weeks of making the switch to their services. Daniel, Annie and the team have been helpful, friendly and available throughout.
Thank you for your brilliant 5* review and comments about our local team. Best wishes, Scott

GoogleJohn D Wood and the team at the Oxford office managed the letting of our property for 15 years and were always helpful, kind and efficient. This week, Celia and the sales people completed the sale of the house. Like everyone we have worked with there, they combine efficiency with a very personal and friendly approach. A big thank you to everyone - we will miss you!
It is wonderful to read your great 5* review and recommendation! I will pass your kind comments onward to our local team. Best wishes, Scott

GoogleMy partner and I recently moved to Oxford from overseas and leased a house with John D Wood. The entire process was really smooth and we were able to schedule a viewing and fill out an application before we were in the country. Jackie, Melanie and Carol are all incredibly helpful and always respond quickly to emails even if it’s past working hours. Highly recommend!

GoogleWe have had an excellent experience with John D Wood in Summertown - Jackie in particular has been incredibly helpful and could not have done more for us. Indeed, all the various staff contacts have been very positive and professional - particularly important for us as this was our first experience of renting after 37 years of house ownership! I recommend them very highly and without hesitation.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback and 5* review! I will make sure your kind comments are forwarded to our local team and their Regional Director. Best wishes, Scott

GoogleBad service from JDW. Spoke to an extremely rude receptionist or something or other...Eloise or Louise...didn’t care to ask her to confirm. Very curt and seemingly unwilling to be of assistance. Will stay away from all branches in future following this experience. Maybe less money should be spent on marketing shiny brochures and more on customer service training!!!!
Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback, we take all comments seriously and this has been passed on to the Regional Performance Director to discuss with the branch to see how they can improve for the future. If you would like to go through this in more detail at all, please do email me at review@countrywide.co.uk Kind regards, Lucy.
