AVOID.... Ive been interested in a few Greens properties recently to find they are selling them using modern day auction methods, which are a nightmare and incur additional costs and fees before securing the property. I didn’t bother putting in an offer and instead walked away. Why can’t they just sell houses like everyone else?? Is it because this method generates more profit for Greens and leaves everyone else out of pocket??

99% of our properties are sold in the traditional way. The properties that are entered in to an auction are done so based on the instructions that we we receive from our client. Purchasing a property at auction has always carried additional fees that are incurred by the purchaser. However, all buyers are made aware of these fees before any commitment to purchase has been made. There are many benefits buying at an auction most notably would be the fact that the buyer obtains the sellers commitment to sell immediately. We accept that buying a property at auction isn't for everybody and we are sorry that you feel the way that you do. As stated earlier most of our properties are not sold via an auction and our branch staff would be more than happy to help you, find a suitable property, that isn't being sold at auction.

For the last six months Greens have been dealing with the sale of my Mothers property. I am extremely disappointed with the communication and feedback received. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I have spoken to our branch manager, Claire Wax, and understand that we did arrange eleven viewings and receive two offers both of which didn't proceed. Agent was obstructive in putting our offer to the vendor until they "financially qualified" us even though we supplied an aip. They kept pressuring to use their financial advice even though we had this already arranged with our trusted advisor. They were rude and unhelpful. Would recommend buyers and sellers to be wary.

I was interested in 5 properties managed by them and wanted to view first, but they were really hopeless. I wasn't able to view any at the end. I found other estate agents much more friendly and helpful.

This has been a lovely experience, the team at Greens have been so supportive, helpful and friendly throughout and their professionalism and knowledge first class. Selling a house is meant to be stressful but they made sure it was a smooth process and we got a lot more for our house than other Estate Agents had suggested! Highly recommended - use them!

We offered over week ago on house in great barr and also sent all paperwork they asked me for. The staff have been telling lies about updates whenever I have called them, spoke to someone called andrea or amanda who told me my offer was highest because I was first to view the house. Then the manager calls me to decline my offer even though I was told I was higher then others - she could not give me a good reason so now we know she is lying as well. Not happy with the manager and staff member at green estate agents great barr. Very poor service towards customers!

All offers were submitted to our client who decided to accept an alternative offer based on the buyer’s position. The offer amount was ultimately not the deciding factor. Our agency staff updated you in a timely manner and provided factual information at all times but must take their final instructions from our vendor. Very poor service,dodgy dealings.considering their repute,made error asking them to sell my property,it was in high demand area,without doing any checks on available funds of prospective buyer,they forwarded me offer and upon asking them repeatedly whether buyer has funds ,they lied to me and after a month when there was no contact from buyer or their solicitor,I contacted green and Co,only to be told that buyer is in a chain,he is selling his house and will buy my house after sale,I wanted to decline offer but the staff kept asking me to wait and they are contacting buyer and their solicitor,it took me nearly 5 months to get rid of this agent and sell via a different agent with in short span of time,very unhappy with their sales team,bunch of tired ???? individuals with no passion for work or improving their lives Or getting any pride in what they do.shme on you.

It took a very long time for this estate agent to get back to me and offer any price on the house but didn't measure up when they arrived - there are other estate agents out there I think they need to get their act together a little bit better I was very disappointed- a company that has such a big reputation

If you recall the appointment was re-arranged numerous times by yourself which did delay us being able to offer you an opinion regarding a marketing price. However, on the appointment Jonathan offered you a verbal opinion regarding a suggested marketing price. He also confirmed this in writing to you. I'm not entirely sure how we could have offered "you a price" any quicker. If you had of given Jonathan instructions to sell your home on the appointment he would have gone ahead and measured up the property. Regards Green and Company
