GoogleNot sure if the great barr office has closed down or not. Advertising on its website as being open until 3pm today but office is closed and no answer on telephone. Saturday 14th Feb 1045am
No we are open today although the office isn’t physically being manned today. If you tried to call us I’m sorry the call wasn’t answered immediately.

GoogleI have nothing but praise for all the staff at Green & Co's Great Barr office. I have been kept informed of all aspects from the date my property was listed to its date of completion. They had a constant flow of viewings and were happy to show my property on my behalf so any potential buyers could give an honest overview. My sister was also selling her property at the same time and did not get anywhere near the help and service I have received. If you're looking at selling please give Green & Co serious consideration as their service has been exemplary.

GoogleOur move was made easier by knowing we were able to contact any of the staff employed at Green & Company at the Great Barr Office and they would be able to answer our questions. If not they would always get back to us with the answer. From the moment we signed up with them all the staff were polite, professional, friendly and always helpful. I would highly recommend this Estate Agent to anyone thinking of putting their property on the market.

GoogleGreen & Co marketed my property at an agreed asking price in September 2025. Their advert was outstanding and generated thirty viewings within the first week and six offers above the asking price. Nichola was excellent in managing the sale process through to completion.

GoogleLet's start with the positives first- 1) Yilmaz is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Jamie is great too. 2) the welcome box i received when I completed on my new house was a great touch. Now the negatives- 1) No one picks up the phone. If you are selling your home, you could be missing out on so many buyers. Very frustrating 2) They dont have the reach of other estate agents (small business) so you will not get many offers. I had my house on the market with Green for 3 months and not 1 acceptable offer. Acres had a few offers within weeks. Felt like I wasted time going with Green. 3) Nichola has her favourite clients and will treat certain clients better than others. I did not appreciate her bias towards the client I was buying my new house from (my house was still under instruction with Green too) It felt like a battle with her. I offered just below the market price and she already said I don't think they will accept without relaying that to the clients (they did accept the offer) 4) Nichola towards the end was every difficult to deal with, she chased me for certain things but her clients were taking a week to reply to certain legal enquiries and then when I took my time she said are you doing this out of principle- very unprofessional and for her to have the audacity to say this was shocking. 6) Nichola was personally dealing with this sale and she is never in the office. Doesn't pick up her mobile either. Or if I call, the response is she will call you back and hardly does . I would not recommend Greens. The 2 lads were fantastic but as a whole it was a negative experience. Acres would be a better option. not sure if anything will be done as she is the branch manager but thought it was important to point this out. In future treat all clients the same, we are all paying a fee for your assistance, don't favour one client over the other.

Great Barr is a busy office, and despite the number of team members who work within the branch from time to time, it can be difficult to reach us during busy periods. We believe we have the same reach as our competitors. Based on statistics from Rightmove for the core ten estate agents covering Great Barr in February, the average market share for sales agreed was 6.4%, and our market share was 6.7%. Nichola handles all our clients who have either sold through us or are buying from us. As you will appreciate, the conveyancing process is not straightforward, and complications are common at any stage. It is not in Nichola’s interest to have “favourite” buyers or sellers. Nichola does work remotely and is part of our conveyancing team; that said, there are five more team members in the branch who would have been happy to try and help assist you. We are sorry you feel this way, and we will review the points you made. On behalf of the company, please accept my apologies, and I wish you all the best in your new home.

Having this support made a quite stressful time much better. I would recommend Greens Estate agent to my family and friends.

GoogleWe cannot fault the service we have received whilst selling my mother's property. We've received friendly, professional care and advice in getting the property on the market from Jonathan. The property sold in 2 weeks. Then we received efficient and caring negotiation and selling skills from Jackie. Jackie is amazing. She kept us fully informed at all stages, acting as the go between the legals and worked incredibly hard throughout, ensuring a good outcome. They helped us through a difficult time as a family. After dealing previously with other estate agents, I would not hesitate in recommending Green's at Mere Green.
