GoogleI'm pretty wary when it comes to estate agents and letting agents. My experience with Goadsby is as a seller - I sold my property with this office and was involved in the sale of a house with their Swanage office. On both occasions they gave honest, realistic valuations that turned out to be closer to the eventual price of sale than other agents. They were great at keeping me informed of progress and their market knowledge was exceptional. They also helped tremendously as the sale went through. Are they the cheapest? No. However, they definitely put in the work and I felt they were on my side throughout the whole process. For me, that was well worth it.

GoogleWe purchased our property in 2007 through Goadsby and are in the process of selling the same property, again through Goadsby. The service we have been provided has been exemplary. Georgia and Charlotte have catered for our every need; their professionalism, attentiveness and customer service has been simply magnificent. I could not recommend the Goadsby Bournemouth team strongly enough. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!

GoogleIf you're looking for somewhere to let/rent don't bother with Goadsby. Worst estate agent ever! Have never ever in my whole life had ANY of my deposit taken by any other estate agent in the last 15 years that I have rented. Tenancy Deposit Scheme? Useless as even they will take the Landlord/Agent's side even when you submit evidence

GoogleI have contacted this company twice recently regarding a rental property they are advertising, heard nothing back from them at all - obviously not bothered about new customers/clients. I wouldn't bother wasting your time. I would have given them no stars but you have to give at least one to be able to post a review....

GoogleAWFUL from a lettings perspective. Right from the beginning our move in was delayed due to a fault with the boiler needing repair. Understandably no ones fault, until we needed to end the tenancy and they had not recorded any details on their system about the change of move in date. Lived with rusty, leaking radiators for a year and a half which we continuously reported and were not replaced until the week before we were leaving the property. We had the hassle of the repairs only for the benefit of the next tenants. Furthermore, with over 20 years experience of renting a property, I would class the wait for any decison on our deposit as long - have usually had it returned within 10 days. Apparently, Goadsby don't have any time clause written in the lease for a decison on the deposit so the landlord may take as long as they wish to make a decision. We left the property cleaner than we found it (3 full days if cleaning and professionly cleaned carpets) and they wish to deduct £445 for cleaning! They seem very reluctant to chase anything from the landlord - and have even told us that we have been waiting for the landlord to obtain a breakdown of cleaning charges - which one would hope had been obtained prior to requesting deductions from our deposit? Will never rent with Goadsby again.

GoogleWe went to see Hannah because our house had fallen through and we had less than 2 weeks to find a new home! Hannah pulled out all of the stops for us and we were able to move in on the day we needed. I cannot thank Hannah and Goadsby Lettings enough, they certainly went the extra mile. Everything is very professional and we were regularly updated on progress. Hannah and the team are an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would not hestitate to recommend them.

GoogleWe recently completed on our house with the help of Alice at Goadsby Wareham. We found her to be superb; knowledgeable, reliable and professional throughout the process. We originally went with an online estate agent and after not much luck thought we would give Goadsby a try. It is easy to see the advantage of a high street agent when you receive customer service like we received from Alice, it makes the extra cost in fees worth it - other high street agents take note!

GoogleIf I could give 0 I would, wanted to go for a property and they decided to run us around in circles for 4 days and not send the forms we’d filled in to the landlord causing us to loose out on the property. Also if you call and they take your name and number they will not call you back for at least 3 days so you’re better of constantly calling back, or just going with literally any other estate agents.

GoogleReviewing as a commercial tenant, Goadsby were a joy to deal with compared to the previous agent we nearly rented with. Grant and Edd were always quick to return calls, professional and courteous. I am sure they are very busy and under pressure, but this did not affect response times negatively. They always answered e-mails and returned calls. We know they are working for the landlord, but they treated us respectfully.

GoogleRecently purchased a property through Goadsby in Verwood, dealt with Nathan, Ben, and sue. (Sue is a legend) Could not of been more impressed with the kindness and professionalism from these guys. More so, if you are a first time buyer, they guided me through the process with such efficiency that something i was so worried about doing became so easy and enjoyable. Nathan was a star, and always on the other end of the phone to assist, as was sue, who literally keeps you sane! Thank you so much, can not wait to move now!!!!!

GoogleI was the buyer of a property in Verwood in 2017, the Sale was handled by Goadsby Estate Agents in Verwood . I was impressed by the professionalism of Rob, Sue and Nathan who were always efficient and helpful, promptly answering questions or seeking clarification. They really stood out as they liaised with mortgage companies, solicitors in relation to probate, Conveyances, Surveyors and all parties involved in the process; to politely hasten the process and this saved me no end of worry. Shall i say they were excellent at friendly chivying and keeping the 'ball rolling'. Having bought and sold 6 times over the decades, and so having many past experiences to compare - i can say that they stood head and shoulders above all previous experiences. If I'm ever minded to sell i will engage Goadsby Verwood. Their friendly assistance and thoughtfulness i received throughout the period was continued once i moved into this friendly town by many organisations and the Local Authority - so i am unlikely to be requiring their 'Selling Skills' for sometime! I was delighted to see their success in a survey of all Estate Agents countrywide - thoroughly deserved. Ash Woods

GoogleRob Ward and his team were absolutely excellent. Having previously marketed our home unsuccessfully with two other local agents, we wish in hindsight that we had instructed Rob in the first instance and we have to say that Sue Gardiner, their in house Sales Progressor, is worth the equivalent of three solicitors. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell their property in Verwood to consider using Goadsby. It does not surprise me in the least to see they have been ranked the 19th Best Sales Agent in the UK in Rightmoves Best Estate Agent Guide. Well done Goadsby, keep up the good work.
