He was flexible with viewings, facilitated the purchase negotiations, kept in touch during the legal proceedings, and importantly was very helpful at moving in time and afterwards with info on the area and local tradesmen, contact with previous owner etc.

Google‘I was very satisfied with the work provided by Matthew Cowley and his team. It only took them 3.5 months to find suitable purchasers and then, unfortunately, and nothing to do with them, 5 months for the two solicitors to sort everything out prior to completion. Matthew was very helpful, especially as I don't live in England, right up to completion, acting as an intermediary between the purchasers, their solicitor and me, telling me when to push my solicitor on various things. All this was much appreciated as the buying/selling system in France is totally different. Matthew was always available for support and advice on how to get things moving. The original asking price was possibly too high in view of the work that had to be done in the flat but I feel we reached a correct selling price in view of the market and there was no point hanging in longer to try and obtain more and continue paying service charges, gas and electricity meters etc etc. I haven't had any previous selling experience so cannot compare Goadsby's and Matthew Cowley with anybody else but I was totally satisfied with the work carried out.’

GoogleLousy customer service from Aimee. I wanted to see a property, she requested my details saying she needed them before a viewing could be booked. I never heard from her again, business must be booming for her! Luckily enough another estate agent very close to Goadsby stepped in, they have obviously heard of customer service!

GoogleWe saw a fantastic estate agent called Richard Wellington. He has been the most accommodating and one of the most professional estate agents I have come across, from always being early at appointments to following up promptly without being overly aggressive, and I feel he went out of his way to try to find the right home for us, as it happens we found a property we loved that was on with a different agent but when I called to inform Richard we had found something else he wished us well and offered any further advice or help he would still be happy to assist. It was so refreshing to deal with someone so enthusiastic and I really feel he made looking for our first home an enjoyable experience. If for what ever reason our purchase doesn’t work out I will definitely be coming back to Richard.
