We have recently moved in to our new house having sold our previous house through Davis Tate with the support of Paul Jarvis. Paul had to navigate his way through the COVID-19 pandemic but worked tirelessly to ensure that we not only sold our house but kept the buyers interested despite a long delay. Paul kept us fully updated and was always available for a catch up.

We had a bad experience with Davies Tate in Twyford for a chalet bungalow we rented in Hurst. They were misleading and unhelpful from the very beginning.

We had a bad experience with Davies Tate in Twyford. They were misleading and unhelpful from the very beginning. As an Estate agent has a duty of care towards the tennant, we found them to be very attached to the two controlling landlords instead. They conveniently didn't inform us of them being immediate neighbours until after we were committed. This lead to a uncomfortable tenancy of being spied on and countless intrusions. The Agents made us pay for both Check-in and Check- out. It's only because the landlords disputed the return of our 1.5 month deposit (for redecorating dated interior and blinds) that an independent adjudicator became involved, highlighting this unfairness out and thus returning back to 92% of our deposit whilst overriding the checkout clerk's findings. Please be careful with them and ask all the right question before you sign on the dotted line.

GoogleAll good until you have to leave the house you rented and they keep more then half of the deposit for silly stuff!

GoogleSo upset with this Estate agent! Told me that a property that was ideal for me would be coming in the market. I knew the house and as a cash buyer thought that I was in a good position. Next thing I know (a couple of days later) a SOLD sign has gone up - no call, no email - nothing. How stupid was I to think that there is honesty among estate agents. Poor client who probably hasn’t got the best price or easy sale.

GoogleI had a good, long relationship with DT through the rentals market and when I decided to sell my property I naturally looked to them but also talked to other agents in the area. I chose DT to market my property as their integrity and honesty shone through. It was worth more than the cheapest fee (they weren't the priciest either). Clare & Kelly make a formidable team; professional, personal and importantly for me, honest and realistic. They were open minded to my own thoughts and preferences and had bags of advice and suggestions too, which made a real difference in viewings and ultimately a sale. It is refreshing to deal with real people. Nothing was too much trouble and Brian and the rest of the team were always happy and willing to help with all manner of requests which went over and above the expected. Communication was great and they were always there for support and advice. Overall, first class. Thankyou all.
