Our experience with Davis Tate will be our only one with any luck. From start to finish they were unprofessional and communication was terrible. Initially the agent taking photos of the house tried to sell us their parents house, even though we said three times we were not interested and it didn't meet our requirements. In the end he tried so hard to do this that he showed us commute times from his parents house to our places of work! This was extremely unprofessional, which we flagged with the office but the response was minimal. Communication was incredibly poor throughout and the amount of chasing we had to do to get basic answers was frustrating. They acted in favour of the buyer throughout and tried to pressurise us into accepting anything that would guarantee them a sale, even though we were paying the fee. They also promised our white goods to the buyer even though this was not agreed (The person that did this has now left). We rented our property through them also and had an issue on the first day. We raised this however once again they couldn't care less (Funnily enough as they had already collected the fee for selling the house). Never again, and we will be passing on feedback to all those we know that are looking to buy/sell.

Richard and his team looked after us for nearly 18 months, with covid and losing a couple of houses they were constantly at the end of the phone and always provided us with the guidance we needed. A great estate agent with an excellent team. Would highly recommend.

Paul Jarvis and Andy Edwards recently advised us on our property sale and onward purchase. It was crucial that we trusted the advisors handling both transactions to ensure the integrity of our chain and to give us the best chance of completing. In short, the service we received was outstanding. Well informed and practical advice, with genuine care and attention. The team worked hard to ensure our transactions completed. Paul and Andy were easy to get hold of and returned calls quickly. We felt well informed of progress every step of the way. We will certainly be using Davis Tate going forward and would recommend them highly.

GoogleI have rented a two bedroom apartment with Davis Tate Abigdon for nearly a year now and as a tenant I am very happy with this agency. Although I have to leave the property to be nearer my university I would like to thank Warren Stein, who is my property manager, for being so efficient and patient with us when dealing with any problems I come up with, regardless of the circumstances which the UK and the world is facing at the moment. I highly recommend this agency as I am very happy with their services.

I would like to comment on my personal experience on the effective way Oliver Martin from the Davis Tate Wantage Branch, and Caty Johnston from the Davis Tate Goring-on-Thames branch have been handling the letting, and re letting of our Wantage rental property. Oliver has done a fine job of finding good tenants for us and organising a smooth changeover from previous tenants for the last 10 years or so. Caty has been handling the tenants contract matters for the property for us for the same amount of time, she was, and is very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable with her advice on these matters, as this is a ‘legal area’ I hate to delve into.

GoogleWe have just rented our house out through Davis Tate and found the whole process was super well organised. We received excellent support, especially from Geraldine Burgess, Jenny Turner & Jennifer King, who gave us great advice along the way, they clearly has excellent knowledge and experience of lettings and the rental market, which I believe was key to us achieving full asking rental income and that our house was also let so quickly.

GoogleHaving decided it was a great idea to try and move in the middle of a pandemic 😷 the team managed to over come some obstacles and get us moved. Kelly was amazing at getting the whole chain in check and getting it exchanged and completed in stressful circumstances....she didn’t stop and her communication throughout was brilliant! Kelly was right once you have moved in you forget about the stress and enjoy your new home 😊👍
