Very impressive service from Davis Tate in my house search in Abingdon. Although I did not buy the property that I was shown, I received excellent service from Dominic Gurden. He communicated extremely well with me, followed up on my queries and showed great professionalism and sincerity throughout the process. I have viewed other properties with Davis Tate in the past and found them to be a very good company.

Well I have had dealings with bad estate agents but this bunch of cowboys ….. win top prize ! Not only do they think it’s acceptable to treat tenants who have been good tenants like fodder but they think they are law …… not only do they not communicate but they refuse to give you your deposit back as letting managers and senior management ignore your emails. If you are renting from them ….. Make sure you have photos , everything is done in email and do not let them give you there codswallop on the law as they feed you bull. And if your a landlord thinking of using them as a management company ….. do not bother your better off putting your money in the bin as they don’t communicate with you or tell you anything about your tenants and problems with your property or advise you on the law requirements. Luckily enough we know the law and what is and not allowed so they could not take and do just what they like !!! Be Carful read up on your rights and don’t let these circus performers take you to the cleaners !! Awful awful company !!!

We moved to Wargrave last month and it took from start to finish 7 months approx. It was a total nightmare but nothing to do with the estate agents. If it was not for the Davis Tate team especially Jenny and later with Geraldine we would have lost the property. Well done guys for cajoling and pushing it over the line. A Good team effort and we would use you again. (But not yet.... give you a bit of a rest first)

Davis Tate were the agents used my vendors and based on our experience with them, I'd definitely use them when selling in the future. It was actually Jenny who encouraged us to view the property, as I wasn't initially keen and I'm so glad she did! I was particularly impressed with how Jenny kept in touch throughout the process and helped progress the sale, particularly when things got sticky over exchange dates!

GoogleWe were due to visit a house and Julie gave an address that was not registered on google maps with no instructions, went to the postcode and turns out that the postcode was for the whole main street. We frantically tried to find the house as we were unable to contact Julie. She finally turned up at the estate agent and was extremely rude and unprofessional and kept on saying that she had to wait 30 mins for us (we had driven over an hour). She did not once apologise for not giving directions or offered to rebook. Simply unbelievable.

GoogleStaff are complacent because they have a monopoly in the area so don't have to work hard to get viewings. Understand the client is important but in our experience one senior member of staff was unprofessional and did not keep us informed as potential buyers until property was already under offer. No reason was given for our failure to secure the property even though we all put in 'similar offers'. Concur with previous reviewers about block booking. It almost seemed as if the property had already been promised to someone else so we didn't stand a chance of getting it. The current situation is not bringing out the best in some estate agents!
