Throughout what is undoubtedly a pretty stressful process, the team at Countrywide in Dennistoun were an absolute joy to deal with during our flat sale. They gave sound advice from the outset, managed viewings for us remotely, went above and beyond to help with all sorts of unforeseen issues and supported us through the trickier points of the sale. Stuart was my go-to for advice and support and Paula and Gemma were always on hand to help. A brilliant team. Big thank yous!

In short, I have absolutely no idea what I paid money for. The service they provided offered absolutely no additional value to the sale of my home other than a few telephone calls to tell me someone wanted to view it (and even that went wrong on occasion, with people showing up that I didn’t know about.) I kept a timeline of the shambles, but at a certain point I decided I just wanted the process to end quickly more than I wanted to complain. There were 6/7 issues that gave me real cause for concern, but the cherry on top was when the people viewing my home told me that they were having issues communicating with them to arrange a viewing too. At that stage their failure to communicate effectively was actively impeding my attempts to sell my home. In the strongest possible terms I would avoid countrywide Dennistoun at all costs.

Probably the worst lettings experience I've ever had in the UK... Summarising into bulletpoints: 1. Didn't have the flat cleaned before providing me with the keys (the fridge was mouldy, old food in the cupboards, hair on the bathroom floor, closet was a mess, etc.), 2. Haven't sent over any inventory lists despite endless phone calls and emails to the letting agency to get this over, 3. Doesn't seem like they know anything about the property e.g., asked where the bins were but no one could provide with an answer, 4. Both the property manager and lettings agency were both very rude and unhelpful on the phone and did not hear out any of my concerns whatsoever until I had to really push for it (especially with the bins and flat cleaning situation!) I cannot emphasize enough - please do NOT rent/let with this lettings agency.
