GoogleSteve from Brown and Merry was very attentive on our renting process. We even experienced a funny situation with one of the Landlords refusing us last minute for a silly thing and Steve helped us to find a quick alternative suitable for us within just 5 days to move in. GoogleSara was really good at breaking down everything tondonwith our mortgage, she explained everything and gave us loads of advice and tips, it was alot of info and her friendly approach gave us confidence to go ahead with everything. Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate my husbands schedule, she came in on a Saturday morning even though it was her day off to meet with us. The whole process was effortless and her rates were better than the banks and others! I have since recommended two family members who have used her even though they love in london.

GoogleI used this estate agency’s service 4.5 years ago on Sep 2014. We are still living in the same property and we are quite happy. I wanted a letter for proof of our tenancy for these years because we haven’t signed new contracts and we just continued with the same old agreement. I needed a formal letter and one of our officers working here, Luke Butler, provided me such letter in seconds! I was really impressed with the efficiency of his work and such great customer service!

GoogleAs a First Time Buyer i was very new to the House buying Process. Loren Telford from the Mortgages team was fantastic. She was really great at helping us to understand exactly what we needed when it came to purchasing my first home as well as being super friendly. I will most certainly be using Lauren again in the future and would recommend her services.

GoogleMy experience with Brown and Merry Estate Agents team at Hemel Hempstead has been fantastic. I have been very impressed at not only the efficiency but the care taken to accommodate individual clients needs. Luke in the property management team is entirely efficient, reliable and responsive, he add so much value. P.S I must mention Steve who helped us about 3 years ago, did a fantastic job from start to end. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

GoogleKristina and all the team at Wendover have been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They listen, they remember and give great advice at a time when you need it most. I would have no hesitation in recommending them if you are selling or buying. Kristina handled everything for us from the start and didn’t let us down once which is very rare these days. On the rare days she wasn’t there all the team Jane, Claire etc were up to speed with the latest info on our sale. A job well done.

GoogleCannot recommend Eilish enough! She helped us through a complicated remortgage with the utmost patience and professionalism and has continued to stay in touch and be supportive since. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for her and she worked around our long working hours in the most accommodating way. If you need help with anything mortgage related she is absolutely your 'go to', you really won't get any better.

GoogleWithout Eilish at Brown and Merry's this whole journey would have not be possible. She has been incredible from start to finish. Nothing is too much to ask and she knew the answer to every question I gave. Going through the process of buying a house for the first time is meant to be very stressful, not with Eilish as a financial advisor! Very helpful and friendly and would recommend using her to anyone.

Absolutely useless got a 12 week contract after 4 weeks no viewing what so ever the 4 time wasters i got never got any feed back from brown n merry Aylesbury i had to keep calling them when i called to ask why i wasn't getting viewings i was told it was brexit it was the school holidays it was the price even though it was 20 thousand pounds less than when i brought it in 2017 Do they want to sell houses or not the communication or lack of it is not acceptable would defiantly NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Brown and Merry will say almost anything to get you to take a property. Sadly, once I’d moved in, their management was hopeless.During my tenancy I had revamped and redecorated the house. It was pristine when I left. I had the place professionally cleaned, I’d weeded the garden and pruned the plants. I have photos which show the house was spotless.Yet, Brown and Merry wanted to deduct £550 from my deposit.Which is a lot of money.I asked why.They said the garden needed tidying. Yet their quote included time for tidying the lawn. Fair enough. Except that trimming it may prove difficult: it’s an artificial lawn. Made of plastic.After months of fruitless chasing I still don’t have my deposit back. Or any good reason why it’s being held back.My contact at Brown and Merry, Hannah Newman, has been almost completely unhelpful. With perhaps one exception: she advised me to take my complaint to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme as “they will adjudicate this out fairly”. Which is more than Hannah or Brown and Merry have managed. So I’ve taken her advice. I’ve lodged a complaint with the industry ombudsman.I have also been in touch with Brown and Merry’s director, Mandy Horspole, but she didn’t help either. She simply begged me not to speak to the property's landlord. Which suggests they value some of their customers, just not their tenants.I’d say, if you value your rental deposit, STAY AWAY!--A postscript: I challenged Brown and Merry via the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and managed to get 100% of my deposit back.
