GoogleBrown and Merry staff in Tring seemed particularly interested to respond to what we were looking for. Charlotte Perry in particular took time to show us houses and quickly understood what we were looking for and was helpful as a negotiator with the sellers. She is very mannerly and good company too. We send our thanks to her and Brown and Merry now that we are settled in Tring.

GoogleI approached Brown and Merry as had found a lovely property that I wanted to purchase ( also through them) but there was considerable time pressure. The team really stepped up to the mark, and within 2/3 days i already had around 15 viewings booked- all accessed through their network and contacts. The team were extremely enthusiastic and proactive- and made me feel comfortable immediately. I really enjoyed the process and they achieved what i thought was near impossible, with the sale of my house in such a short time frame. I would recommend Brown and Merry going forward- and found the team really personable and helpful.

GoogleWe didn't actually sell our house through Brown & Merry, but I wish we had. We dealt with them via our vendor and were fortunate enough to have Jamie supporting us, and we also had dealings with a couple of other members of his team. The team supported us in exactly the same way as Jamie. Nothing but professional, couldn't do enough to help, always came back to us as quickly as possible, were efficient and clear in their communications. Having recently exchanged, I don't relish the prospect of moving again in the near future but if we do, we'll give Jamie and his team a call, no question!

GoogleWe had our house on the market with another agency for 6 months with no movement. We switched to Brown and Merry and sold it within 2 months for the asking price (which Marcus said they would do). Marcus and Charlotte were outstanding from the get go. They communicated clearly with us throughout and were confident in their approach. GoogleCharlotte Perry is an outstanding member of Brown & Merry in Tring. She was so very helpful in trying to get us an appointment to suit us to view a house. When we wanted to see it again she arranged for us to return and was so obliging. When my daughter and her partner wanted to see the house at the last minute Charlotte fitted them in despite being pressured with other appointments and work. Charlotte is an exceedingly helpful Estate Agent with a lovely manner; she knows when to step back and let prospective buyers look, discuss, and have time in making such an important decision in finding somewhere to live. We wish her well and thank her most sincerely. Jamie Dyson was also a very impressive member of staff too like Charlotte. He was very pleasant and helpful Estate Agent and knowledgeable like Charlotte. We thank him for his help.

GoogleI have moved house twice in the last two years and both times I was helped by Brown and Merry, in Tring. On both occasions I received a friendly and professional service. Everyone on the team has been kind, friendly and efficient. Charlotte sold my flat before it even went live and I got the top price. We exchanged contracts this week and I couldn't be happier. GoogleBrown and Merry in Tring are brilliant. I had a great experience. Tom came round initially and was so kind. He was super friendly and gave me a top price for my maisonette. Then I got to meet both Marcus and Charlotte Perry, who would be selling my home. They were both lovely. Charlotte was amazing. She found a buyer and sold my place for the full price, before the photos had even been edited. Since then I've been dealing with Jamie and Yvonne over the phone and again, they are both friendly and professional. I'm moving to my new home next week and I can't thank these guys enough. They helped make the experience smooth and stress free. Thanks so much. 😊

GoogleIt was a bit of a rocky road letting my property with tenants pulling out a few days before they were due to move in, but Amour handled the whole situation professionally, calmly and with a great sense of humour and almost immediately found another tenant who has now moved in. I have been very impressed by the professional service Amour and the team provided and will definitely use Brown and Merry again.

GoogleBrown and merry gave me excellent service and filled me with confidence when I made my initial enquiry. I was informed that they would have access to a tenanted flat the following week, so I called back to arrange a viewing. When I called back, I asked if I could see the flat that they previously told me they would have access too. I was startled when a member of staff informed me that they didn’t tell me that they would have access the following week. I recognised his voice, and it was the same man. Instead of delivering good customer service, I was abruptly told contradicting information I would have appreciated a good customer service response of: ‘we were expecting the keys this week, but unfortunately we still can’t gain access, I apologise this has changed, but we will update you as soon as we can gain access, would this be ok with you?’ I will not be using brown and merry again, and I have deliberately not viewed properties which would be an interst to me as I don’t want to increase their companies profits due to turbulent customer service. Potters and ford, frosts and chancellors have given me great responses and honesty all the way through. I have also informed my family that I would not use this agent. Maybe customer service training is needed for bad news, as I’m sure the rest of their processes are smooth.

GoogleOriginally I really appreciated the team there. They did what they could very quickly to get me a flat. Good bargain and helpful but when you finish your contract… you’re alone and you end up finishing the mess yourself directly with the landlord. They need to improve on this point. The customer need to be accompanied from the beginning to the end… don’t forget that.

GoogleThis office has shown nothing but a lack of care and consideration for both landlord and tenant. Their communication is appalling. We had a rough experience with check in. Check out was a mess and to top things off 2 months after asking them to release the deposit to the tenants they still have not done so. The lack of professionalism has caused so much unnecessary stress for both my husband and I as well as the tenants. Awful experience.

GoogleAs a First Time Buyer I found the prospect of the purchasing process a little daunting but this couldn't have been any further from the truth with Brown & Merry. The process of buying a property is never going to be stress-free however from first communication with Zebby and the initial viewing (and consequently receiving feedback to all my queries very promptly) to weekly check-ins through the sale process from James and constant assistance and help from offer to completion I really couldn't have asked for more and recommend them highly. GoogleSelling a house for the first time, and particularly as I was doing it under a Lasting Power of Attorney and don't live locally, was a daunting prospect. The initial appointment with James Beasant was the best we had by a mile and there was no doubt about choosing Brown & Merry. The sale got quite messy due to problems on the buyers' side, but James and his team persisted, in tandem with our solicitor, and got it over the line at full asking price. I can't thank them enough.

GoogleI am in the process of applying for a mortgage with Beth as my mortgage adviser. The process has been very smooth from initial meeting for the agreement in principle to sending off the mortgage application. Beth is very knowledgeable and easy to contact to book in an appointment with and has made the process very easy for someone as lazy as I am. I would definitely use Beth again in the future and would also recommend to others.

GoogleWould like to Thank James from Chesham branch for helping me out with the Mortgage. Came across him by complete accident and having other brokers before with different deals but he has stood out by a country mile. He was really on it, no hanging about and the deal was the best I could find. He has helped me with the estate agents and solicitors which made the process a lot less stressful. Thanks again!

GoogleWe have recently sold and purchased through Brown & Merry Chesham and cannot recommend them enough. Perry and Charmaine were on hand to help with any questions we had throughout the process, and helped to ensure the process went as smoothly as possible. They were always there to communicate between ourselves and our buyer/vendor up until completion, even helping with any questions we still had after completion.
