GoogleI just popped into the office in Leighton Buzzard to enquire about renting a property and ask some general questions. I spoke to Tayla who was incredibly helpful and cooperative. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks she will be able to help me find a one or two bed property in the Leighton Buzzard area to move in in August.

GoogleI went to view a property with my family. I had previously spoken to the agent Tayla and provided my details. At the property, we filled in the form to put an offer on the property. Everything seemed to go well! The following afternoon I received a missed call and voicemail from Tayla asking to confirm if we would like to go ahead with an offer. Having that I missed the call, I replied via email confirming the offer and I will be in touch the following day Friday. Come Friday, I called 7 mins after opening hours and advised the agent is on the phone and left my message once again confirming my offer. I called again, she’s on the phone. Called again in the afternoon as I haven’t received a call back nor acknowledgement of my email. To call this time for the gentleman to insensitively tell me they’ve let the property to someone else….. As a women of colour, this is very concerning to be have your offer accepted and unknowingly taken back with no communication. Taking into Considering how they’ve handled the matter, I would not recommend their services or agent.

GoogleI have recently met both Andrew and Tayla at Brown & Merry and their service has been top class! I found a property last Saturday that had only just come online and knew that I needed to view as soon as I could. Unfortunately, my partner wasnt at home so I set off alone and rang the office en route. Andrew was very professional and after asking all the questions that I would expect, he offered to meet me there since I was on my way! Andrew was extremely patient, since I got lost! He helped me operate my mobile to video the property for my partner! Gave lots of guidance and came organised with initial paperwork. I didnt feel rushed, he was generally supportive and just as I returned home, I received a call confirming we may secure the property!! My partner only went out for the evening. On the Monday, I took our documents only to discover that the bank had not sent ideal proof of residency. Andrew introduced me to the lovely Tayla, who suggested that she come to the bank with me!? This was a service over and above anything I expected. Tayla is very switched on and reassured me ( I sound like a wreck, but recent experiences with 2 estate agents in the Cotswolds have dented my confidence ) We are now only Wednesday and Andrew has already called to discuss a moving date!? So we are feeling reassured that we are dealing with a team of professionals at Brown & Merry who appreciate that moving house (especially at this time of year) is stressful. A heartfelt thank you for easing our stress.

GoogleNaeem in the mortgage advisor team has been brilliant - we've had some complicated circumstances and he's worked hard to find us a suitable lender. He's kept us in the loop, replies to all of our emails no matter how trivial the questions and has made the mortgage application process easy to understand for us as first time buyers. Edit: Helen & Ellie in the sales team really helped push our purchase through to completion recently and they went above and beyond for us so thank you!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

They respond quickly and efficiently to any issues I may have as a landlord. I have dealt with other managing agents across the country in the last 12 years and I think they are one of the best teams I have dealt with in this time.

GoogleWe didn't buy a house from Brown and Merry but we used the mortgage advisor service. Naeem is a very good professional, he was always available and tried to find the best options for us aswell. We choose him and it was the best thing that we did. He gave us the best interest rate and help us in all of the mortgage application process. I recommend his services 100%.

He applied no pressure and was well equipped with local knowledge which inevitably assisted me making the right decision on my first property purchase.
