GoogleFrom my initial meeting through to settling the tenants into my property and ongoing support Bourne have provided an excellent service. They are highly professional, personable and reliable. As a first time landlord they guided and supported me through the process and I felt well informed. My initial meeting was with David Taylor who provided me with my personal presentation and market valuation. This was highly professional and of a much higher standard than other agents and led me to choose Bourne. I have since been supported through the rental process by Harry Oliphant and Rebekah Faulkner who have provided me with a high quality service at all times. All communication was with either one of them and as they both knew all the details it made things run smoothly and was a positive experience for me. Support was always given willingly and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend these individuals highly enough and therefore Bourne.

My experience with Bourne Estate Agents during the attempted purchase of 2A Froyle House in Upper Froyle, Hampshire was extremely frustrating and ultimately led me to withdraw and buy elsewhere. As a first-time buyer, I expected guidance, transparency, and realistic timelines. Instead, I was repeatedly told there were “updates” when in reality there was no meaningful information provided. Months went by with vague emails, constant chasing, and no clear answers on what the delay actually was or how long completion might realistically take. Even after changing to a solicitor recommended by Bourne, I still couldn’t get a straight answer. The issue was consistently framed as being with third parties, yet Bourne failed to manage expectations from the start. Conditions agreed months earlier were not met, timelines slipped without explanation, and when concerns were raised, the response was defensive rather than supportive. Being told that the property was “worth more” and might go back on the market, instead of addressing legitimate concerns, felt unprofessional and dismissive. What ultimately pushed me to withdraw was the complete lack of clarity and reassurance. Planning a purchase requires certainty, especially for a first-time buyer, and Bourne were unable or unwilling to provide this. Had expectations been managed properly from the beginning, the outcome may have been very different. I would not recommend Bourne Estate Agents based on this experience. Do not walk nowhere near Froyle house as the whole thing is fishy. I now am left with a hefty bill from the solicitors.

GoogleSteve Ryan and his team have been amazing since the beginning. I met Katrina (or might have been Katherine) back in 2023 doing letter dropping for selling properties and she was so helpful and impressive I got in touch with Steve and he provided the most professional, compassionate and insightful service. When my late husband passed away, it was Bourne I went to without hesitation to sell my property. They listened to me and reassured me every step of the way. I got more for my property than I thought I would and they followed through with what they said they could deliver. It happened quickly and at every turn I felt looked after. The after care has been great too. I can’t recommend them enough - they are honest, genuine, trustworthy and lovely people too. Best estate agents I’ve ever come across! They managed to get the property agreed very quickly and kept me informed at every step, cancelling other viewings promptly which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I’ve been really happy with how everything has been handled so far and would definitely use Bourne again in the future.
