Michelle @ BYS Poole saved our day! When our buyers didn't complete on our mortgage and left us homeless in a new area for the night she quickly arranged a space for an 18 tonne trucks worth of belongings, made me a coffee to calm me down and stuck around after closing time to make sure we had everything we needed. Perfect service. The pricing is surprisingly inexpensive and very flexible in that you only pay for what you use and get refunded anything over that. I really hope I never need to use them again, but I would definitely recommend the service to anyone else!

I was personally very disappointed with the way business was carried out from what I thought was one of the leading storage companies. While the customer service received from Ayun was very good, and he did offer me a slightly bigger unit for the same price, I couldn't get over the huge amount of hidden costs incurred that I wasn't expecting. While I have since found the small print that very vaguely says you must budget for insurance, deposit and padlock, I have looked back over all the information sent to me and it's actually extremely difficult to get any vague information about what the overall cost will be. All I have is multiple emails telling me about the rental cost alone for one week (£18.50), deceptively making it seem like you've got a good deal, so of course it was a surprise to walk in and be asked to pay £167 on to my card. Now of course I accept that a deposit must be paid but it was not made clear at all, nor that the first 4 weeks rent had to be paid upfront. Personally I will never be using the service again just from the shock of this experience. I think most people would agree that making costs very clear upfront is absolutely vital to good customer experience. Can't stand this sneaky way of doing business. Extremely disappointing.

Came in to get prices. After a lot of farting around was given a cost but that was 1 hour that I was never going to get back again. Blow me down with a feather. I came back in to activate my storage room with my van fully loaded on a time constraint with another appointment to get to. 2 hours later and after so much faffing around I got my bits into the store. Long winded hand over, incompetent staff, poor record keeping and wishy washy price matrix. Unimpressed and I'm not keen to recommend. Otherwise nice storage areas.

Very large, space for storage is deceivingly small. They hide fees and try to get money off your deposit for even the smallest of things. Was told I'd be given £100 back if I told them to cancel my room 2 weeks before my moving out date, did as told and only got £40 back because they said I was a day late despite calendar proof otherwise. Still salty about that and the fact that they charge 14 pounds for a key lock that can be picked with a piece of a soda can.

The price was over double what they said on the phone and they wont let you open an account unless youre there with all your stuff. Some of the staff are really nice. The music pipped through the building is infuriating and I could barely tolerate being there for too long. It is handy as it is not too far from town but that is the only reason I would use it again. I hope I dont use it again. I do hate the place.

It's quite a central position and clerks are nice and they service they offer to store your thing is good. However, the price turns out to be a lot more than what you planned from the original quote as you need to put insurance into account and it is mandatory so you can't refuse it. I paid £42 for 4 weeks in the smallest locker. The price is also half for the first 2 months and then it goes up to full price. So it would have been £84 from the third month onwards. It is therefore a temporary solution. Good thing is that if you move your things before the time you paid they will refund you.
