We didn't have a clue as to selling my father in laws house so I popped in to the Chester branch and spoke to Kate who was very pleasant and helpful and she arranged a valuation with Kevin for a couple of days time. Kevin confirmed on the day that he would meet me at the property at the given time and rang around half an hour before to say he was on his way. When he arrived, he was very professional and very informative as to the different ways we could sell the property. We decided on the 'Modern Method of Selling' (i think that's what it's called) and from going on the market it had sold within 3 weeks. Kate and Louise at the branch kept us informed of viewings and feedback regularly and helped us with a lot of the legal paperwork which was a great help. We would highly recommend using Beresford Adams if you are selling a property.

I very nearly pulled out of the house I wanted to buy because of the staffs bullying tactics. I didn’t have a good experience with the staff so I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone I know. I found them very rude and pushy. Had to get my dad to call them to ask them to stop with the nasty emails in the end.Customer service needs improvement. I would strongly recommend more training for all staff to complete and better communication in future. Disappointed is an understatement when it comes to the lack of replies and communication that occurred. Believe I was also lied to initially about another offer just to make me raise my price. They mysteriously pulled out of the house.

Thanks to Beresford Adams I finally got my house sold. It took a bit of time with buyers pulling out over minor issues but I finally got the buyer who really wanted the house. I hope they enjoy the property as much as I did. The whole team kept me informed at every step, even when people further down the chain moved the completion date. Cherry-Lee and Sian in sales have been very helpful every step of the way. We had a surge of viewings when the property was first listed on Rightmove. I’d get a text every time a viewing was arranged. My text messages were very busy! If I was in town I’d call into the office and they’d recognise me and knew the latest update on the property and advised me of any queries I may have had. As a letting management they are pretty poor. We let out our property and leave to them to do a yearly inspection, they decided to carry out the inspection 4 months after tenant moved in, but as they manage my property they didn't realize that the garden area was separate from the house , so they didn't inspect it , but as we specified it is important that the tenant keeps on top of the upkeep of the garden area, so now they want to charge me for a inspection of the garden area.
