I say unexpected as I, unfortunately, had a not so positive experience with Balgores years ago (apart from Pete, the mortgage guru, he's always been legendary!). When the house I wanted to view this time was with them I was a bit worried. So, before they even started they were on the back foot with me which highlights just how good the service was to turn my opinion on its head. I can't thank the team enough, Pete, Claire, Donna and of course the epic Dee...you are incredible at your jobs and helped make a stressful process as smooth and reassuring as possible... thank you, thank you, thank you!

Big thank you to Ross, Claire, Amber, Sean and the team at Balgores, Wickford, and to Sarah in sales progression. You were all so helpful and patient with a ‘slightly’ more challenging than normal sale on my house and on the sale of my Mum’s house. There were times when I thought it was all going to fall through but thanks to your perseverance, experience and professionalism you progressed us to two successful sales in what can best be described as ‘newly changing times’ in the market. In addition to the sales of both houses, you managed to find us our forever home, this wasn’t without its challenges either but with an amazing amount of patience and cooperation from you all, you got this one over the line too! The views from the garden are talked about and admired by everyone who visits and works there, we can’t wait to be in and settled so we too can appreciate them every day. I don’t suppose you’ll have to help accommodate a couple of hundred budgies again any time soon either, so that must’ve made it a unique one and quite surreal at times! Thank you all so much.

GoogleBalgores have kept in touch with me ever since I bought a house through them over 5 years ago, as I told them at the time we were always planning on moving in a few years. Prior to instructing them on the sale of my current house in 2023 they have always been helpful and responded on any questions I had about the general market. We sold our house in an incredibly difficult market so I am very grateful for all the teams hard work. Michael in particular has been fantastic throughout the whole process. If I were to sell my house again I would absolutely use Balgores again. Very satisfied with the fee level and overall service. A+++ five stars.

GoogleScheduled viewing at property cancelled due to tennant getting covid. Agreed we would look to reschedule for the weekend if possible, but was left with them to contact me for when I can view. I am not told they have an offer accepted. Poor communication.

Googlehaving previously failed to reach a sale with another agent I was sceptical about putting the house on the market again. Michael arranged for a series of views on the first day on the market. we had a few offers within a few days. We accepted and completed within 12 weeks. Michael followed up on all calls and validated offers to confirm serious buyers. Will definitely use Balgores again.
