Ray and Chris at the Personal Agent in Epsom provided a first-class service in selling our Dad’s property, which was a bespoke sale requiring a certain type of buyer, given it is a Grade II listed cottage. They also helped us find the right property for my Dad to move into. They managed the process from start to finish between the entire chain ensuring everyone was kept informed, they were easy to get hold of when we needed to speak to them and they provided trusted advice. I’d recommend their service to anyone.

We purchased a property through them and in the beginning they were very keen to help, so they can obviously secure the purchase. During the negotiations, their communication was terrible and they did not seem very willing to assist in certain matters. Now that the sale has completed we have discovered problems in the property that were not disclosed to us and have resulted in large delays in the moving process. Just overall unpleasant and unacceptable experience.

Sammy was very friendly and accommodating to my delayed arrival time. I was not rushed to take in the property. My first experience with the company. So far I like the non sales laid back approach to the viewing.My kind of easy going viewing experience. Sammy shared her local knowledge and was able to provide options for my circumstances. She listened to my needs. I’m very pleased that she has sign posted me to other properties given my deadline to have an offer accepted.

We had the advantage of being a chain-free buyer. We put an offer in on a property and Personal Agent told us that we were up against one other buyer who was also chain-free. They persuaded us to increase our offer, which we did and we purchased the property. We later met the seller in person and they told us we were the only chain-free buyer who made an offer. So it seems that we paid more for the property because the estate agent lied.They were also the cause of a lot of contention between us and the seller throughout the purchase and seemed to enjoy stirring up whatever trouble they could. Zero integrity and professionalism.

As I can see your comment is in regards to a Landlord that this is related to our Lettings company, and not for our Stoneleigh Sales branch. I have contacted the Lettings team and I understand they have spoken with you. Their version of events is very different to yours, so I hope you can resolve this. Kind regards

GoogleSam was great as liaison. He was handling my purchase and kept me well informed, assisted with enquiries and also assisted when helping to manage other parties who, at the time, were being difficult. I would have scored higher however on a broader note operations at the Personal Agency would benefit from improvement. PA were handling several other links in the chain. However often one agent didn't know what the other had said / agreed, answers weren't forthcoming and frequently they weren't communicating with my agent which meant I had phone up to keep information flowing.

GoogleI recently had to sell a house as part of my late Mother’s estate. Simon at the personal agent was fantastic throughout the whole process. Given I’m based in Yorkshire and the house was in Surrey, Simon was instrumental in supporting the sale. Nothing was too much. I would thoroughly recommend the agency. Very honest, helpful advice and incredibly supportive. It made the whole sale much more bearable it what has been quite a trying period.
