From the very start, she was proactive in identifying items to claim, organised a meeting to agree on a clear plan of action, and kept us informed at every stage. She was thorough in compiling the initial claims list, arranged contractor quotes promptly, and handled all communications with the tenants professionally. What stood out most was her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure nothing was overlooked. It was clear she genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us as landlords. Awful service. I was their tenant and they left me at the rental property without hot water for over two months. After around nine weeks of having no hot water as the hot water had broken, and having patiently waited for repairs to be made... I was forced to pay someone to fix the issue. Once I had paid for replacement parts and labour for the issue to be fixed, I was evicted by the letting agent & landlord. I always paid my rent and always paid my rent on time. I also endured two years at the property without any curtains or blinds for privacy at the windows, despite having mentioned on several occasions. The maintainence company consistently failed to manage and maintain the communal areas. A Letting Agent should remain unbiased and work to serve both the landlord and their tenant, yet this Lettings agent seemingly only want to serve the landlord for their own personal financial gain whilst treating the tenant in a disgraceful and disrespectful way. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. RIA LAWRENCE the branch manager threatened my guarantor over the phone and MICHELLE HOBBS the branch property manager is completely incompetent, not knowing how to successfully manage a property and the issues that may inevitably arise on occasion. You’re meant to receive a fair level of service within life, especially when you’re paying for someone’s services... I was ripped off and evicted for no reason, having then lost all my new furniture and possessions as I couldn’t afford to put them into a storage facility. The irony being that I always paid my rent and always paid my rent on time... they ought to be ashamed of themselves. Having had negative experience with another local estate agents whom I worked with for several years, I got in touch with the Personal Agent to let out a one-bed flat and within a couple of days we had two offers! A big 'Thank You' to Joe who dealt with all our communications with the prospective tenants. Although we did experience a couple of issues, he made sure they were rectified promptly! The whole team at The Personal Agent are excellent. I've had both 'tenant finder only' + 'fully managed' services from other local agents but none have been as good. Ria is very knowledgeable & always very helpful RE local market insight + pricing. Her negotiators have always been really pleasant to deal with, seem to book viewings with the right sort of tenants & provide useful feedback after appointments. Being a studio flat the tenant turnover is fairly high but I can't remember having a void period longer than a week or so.. The whole team is 5* but I have personally been most impressed by Katie Jenkins (property manager). Over the last couple of years we have had a number of issues to deal with & Katie has always been both easy to contact & very quick to respond to the problem. She books good/local contractors, sorts the problem ASAP & most importantly, ensures the tenant is happy & enjoying living there.. Really excellent service - thank you.
