Although the sold my place, I was very disappointed with Luca selling and pushing my sale based on false information, which I realised later when it was too late to back off and also referred me avrillo solicitor as the best, but actually they are very dodgy and very, very expensive. First off all he was selling my 2 bedroom house as potential 3 bedroom house due to my renovated garage,which was meant as a playroom and not summer house as advertised and sold as such,which resulted in extra charge of £421 for the indemnity insurance for not having building regulations from this greedy company called Avrillo,when I requested refund the director refused as I signed brochure with no objections. However I told Luca about this wordings but he kept selling using this to his advantage to get it sold. After all I paid them over £5500 in commission and was expecting that small refund would not hurt them especially when they referred me such a outrageous super expensive dodgy company
Thank you for your review.As previously pointed out to you we did not say in any of our marketing that your maisonette had three bedrooms. It was always marketed as two bedrooms, and you signed off on all of your marketing material confirming it as a two bedroom maisonette.Because you put a bed in your garage at the bottom of your garden does not mean that we can call it a three bedroom maisonette! When the buyers solicitor then asked for an indemnity insurance for the garage to class it as a third bedroom, and you expected us to cover the cost, of course we refused to pay for that. And true to your word, as you said, if we did not cover the cost you would post bad reviews about us.Regarding your solicitors. We recommend the services of several different companies who act efficiently and honestly, which makes each transaction smoother and faster. The solicitors we recommend have a range of prices to suit all budgets. AVRillo are typically more expensive than some others, but they have consistently shown they are the most efficient to work with, which is a service many clients are keen to pay for.We had hoped that having successfully sold your property for the money you wanted ( when your previous agents had failed to do so ) you would have been happy with the successful outcome. We are sorry this is not the case, and we wish you all the best for the future.

GoogleWe were very impressed when we first met with Richard when he came to value the property and give us great advice that we were looking for. We knew after meeting Richard that it was Personal Agent who we wanted to market our property. The brochure and video tour that the team put together was so impressive. We were introduced to Joe who was put in charge of the sale and he arranged and conducted the open day which was a huge success with numerous viewings and offers. Joe’s communication with us was excellent and he kept us informed at all times. In fact all members of the Epsom branch were extremely helpful whenever I telephoned. After an offer was accepted Sarah stepped in from the Progression Team to keep us updated and to get the sale completed. She too was excellent throughout. We would highly recommend Personal Agent, they truly provide a personal and professional service.

GoogleThe whole team at The Personal Agent are excellent. I've had both 'tenant finder only' + 'fully managed' services from other local agents but none have been as good. Ria is very knowledgeable & always very helpful RE local market insight + pricing. Her negotiators have always been really pleasant to deal with, seem to book viewings with the right sort of tenants & provide useful feedback after appointments. Being a studio flat the tenant turnover is fairly high but I can't remember having a void period longer than a week or so.. The whole team is 5* but I have personally been most impressed by Katie Jenkins (property manager). Over the last couple of years we have had a number of issues to deal with & Katie has always been both easy to contact & very quick to respond to the problem. She books good/local contractors, sorts the problem ASAP & most importantly, ensures the tenant is happy & enjoying living there.. Really excellent service - thank you. Over the years I've dealt with the whole team on numerous occasions (Ria, Katie, Matthew, Michelle, Joe, Arran) & they have all been excellent - Would recommend to friends/family without hesitation.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleThese guys are very dishonest and never tell the truth. They always lie regarding the prices and offers. we made an offer on a house and they lied to us saying someone offered much more than our offer and just saw the house was sold for less what we offered.....I believe they have their people and lie to Sellers regarding the offers and don't pass all offers to the seller only the low offers from their people and properly getting something under the table.NegativeProfessionalism

We assume the above feedback is regarding an offer you made on a house in Ardrossan Gardens which you did not secure? You were one of several offers on this property which were put forward to the owner. The owner chose to run with another offer for their own personal reasons, which was not as high as yours. This was the owners decision!! I can assure you we do not lie and all offers are put forward to our vendors. I note you have just completed on a property purchase through the same office that your review is about, so the assumption that we only pass on low offers and get something under the table is not true, as you are fully aware!

GoogleA Very Shady Agent. Have your wits about you when dealing with this agent. The agent John Ramsay from the Stoneleigh office reassured me that my offer was accepted and no one else would see the property, this was a complete lie as they kept the property on the market and after getting my mate to call and ask to see if they would show him the property which they happily agreed to do and told him there is a restrictive covenant which says you have to get freeholders permission to let the rooms or property which costs and can be refused. I am a buy to let investor so this information was crucial to the sale and I was not told this. John specifically said this would be a great buy to let investment before I walked in the viewing. This covenant renders the property worthless for my intended purpose. I called to speak to John who wouldn't take my calls. When he eventually called me back he kept saying they're just trying to find out more info from the sellers solicitor and only was forced to disclose the information when I had caught him out on in it by telling him what my mate had been told about the restrictive clause. The agent annoyingly would have been well aware of this clause previously as they had said they had an investor pull out at the very last minute due to not being able to get enough funds together and he said that was why it was back on the market. I now suspect this was another misrepresentation. Basically they were trying to withhold this crucial information from me for days and potentially weeks and stringing me along. Probably so they could use my offer to get other offers or to get me to loose money on fees and surveys, maybe on some bizarre hope that I would renegotiate after incurring so many costs and waisting so much of my time. Absolutely shocking practice!! I will never be dealing with them again.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Thank you for your comments. We will only ever remove a property from the market when we know that a proposed deal is viable. When you made an offer on the property with a view to renting it out, John Ramsey took the responsible step of checking with our vendor’s solicitor that the lease would allow this to be done. John did this so as not to waste your time and money, or ours. Although we don’t expect any appreciation for protecting your interests we are certainly surprised to be accused of doing the opposite. While we were waiting for a response from our vendor’s solicitor we also had to spend time with your friend who was pretending to be interested and was also told that there may be an issue with renting the property out. We are extremely busy at the moment and certainly do not have time to enter into sales which we don’t have a high degree of confidence will successfully complete. I’m sorry that you have a different perspective on this, and also that we have to communicate here instead of by phone or in person.
