Fantastic experience selling our house with R&J Swanley. Michelle and Matt done everything they could possibly do to get the house on the market and sold as quickly as possible (after a disastrous 15 month hellish, waste of time with Wards - Eynsford, that cost us lots of time & £30,000). Nothing was too much for them and their sales progresser Terri was a credit to them. She took calls daily from me and constantly chased solicitors etc as she was also aware of what we had been through. I can't recommend them enough. We made a stupid mistake and went with the wrong agency previously, if only we chose them first we'd be £30,000 better off and with less wrinkles and grey hairs.... Really positive experience, the team are well established and very, very knowledgeable regarding property and local markets. There is an old saying of you get what you pay for and Robinson Jackson offer excellent value for money, in assisting with 2 sales in the area they achieved offers above my expectations. Reading through some of the other reviews I just have to correct a few of them, as far as not being able to speak to them - they have always been there when I have called, Ive walked in and spoke to them face to face whenever I have been in the area. For someone to say that they did not hear anything for months is laughable, the other thing to remember with agents is that they wont get paid until the house sale goes through so there is no reason why they would drag a sale out. The lady with the story about London road who goes by the name of "admin team" writes a fictional tale remiss of George RR Martin. It literally is a great How-To guide of how to be an idiot trying to buy a house. Going to an owner directly and negotiating a deal? There is nothing worse! how would the owner ascertain that you can actually afford the property? Usually I dont like to berate other reviews in my review but there are so many inaccuracies with the reviews here it has taken me back. My advice, if you are thinking of selling, call them out for a chat. It costs nothing. Failing that, look on Rightmove to see who has the most properties for sale, there is a reason behind that.

From day one when meeting their Branch Partner, John Speer, at the property for the initial valuation, Robinson Jackson have been exemplary in the professional service they’ve provided. The speed & quality of marketing the property has been faultless & really appreciated the regular updates from team members especially Sharon & Katy. I particularly liked how the office was able to recommend trusted solicitors & home energy performance contractors who have both provided an equally professional service, but I was never pressurised or obliged to accept these but very glad I did. We have finally moved to our new home in Norfolk from Sidcup after a long and difficult 12 months. We initially put our house on the market with an estate agents at the Oval, Sidcup, but they over promised and under delivered! As soon as the contract ended we went with Robinson Jackson who had been recommended to us. From day 1 we were met with professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. Harry came and valued our house and gave us straight and honest advice. Andrew Greene, Branch manager, over-saw the whole process and engaged with us when we unfortunately had issues with the chain which fell through 4 times due to no fault of theirs. Lovely Natalie Birks looked after most of our viewings and guided us through the selling process. Once we got to offer stage the process was taken over by the progressing team, mostly Sam Birks and Lauren. They have been utterly fabulous and poor Sam had to cope with my tears and frustrations each time someone in the chain let us down. We sadly had a sudden bereavement during the process and they were so supportive and full of empathy. What has been a very difficult process and year, has been made all the more bearable by the whole of the lovely RJ team and we cannot thank them enough for getting us to the final stage, our new life in Norfolk. We never intend moving again BUT we would happily recommend them to those who want to move.

As a first time buyer, I was delighted to have an offer accepted on a lovely flat through this estate agent. Despite being informed by Robinson Jackson that I was one of seven bidders for the property, my offer was somehow accepted by the vendor who they claimed had warmed to me during the viewing. I was over the moon and excited about moving in. What I would later learn was the property had signs of subsidence or some kind of structural movement. My surveyor, who I had paid almost £250 to conduct a report - wouldn’t consider giving me a mortgage unless I paid in excess of £1,000 for a more extensive survey, which could have just highlighted more issues. As the vendor had bought the freehold for their property, there was no form of insurance to cover the issue of subsidence. As I researched further, I found that the flat in question had been put on the market previously and I believe the same thing had happened (the buyer's bank would not provide a mortgage due to signs of subsidence). I believe the vendor of the property had attempted to hide the cracks caused by the subsidence in the hope that my surveyor wouldn't notice them. The vendor (the one who had warmed to me during the viewing) was dismissive after the surveyor report and informed me that they would be putting the property on the market despite my initial attempts to negotiate the issue. I felt this was unfair and questioned their behaviour. The flat was placed on the market several times afterwards, all failing for the same reason, subsidence. It soon came to light that Robinson Jackson were privy to these issues but continued to market the property to prospective buyers in the hope a buyer’s survey wouldn't pick up on it. I feel this was very irresponsible as purchasing a flat with this issue would have such an impact if a buyer tried to sell in the future. It’s also giving false hope, wasting time and robbing potential buyers of £250 in survey report expenses. In fact, I phoned the estate agent to enquire about the property when it was re-marketed for the fifth time on their website and was informed by their staff that the reason it was being re-marketed was due to ‘buyers with commitment issues’. This left me angry as I was more than willing to commit to the sale. It’s clear the estate agent only care about their commission and not providing an honest, quality service. As a vulnerable first time buyer, they could have lumbered me with an unsellable property just for a bit of commission and I will ensure that I do not use them again.
