Property went up for sale Friday afternoon and sold the following morning.From the valuation to completion Caroline showed professionalism and expertise, stepping in when needed when a not so straight forward cash sale threatened to fall through days before completion, she promptly got things back on track.I cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend Caroline without hesitation.

Google(Morley branch) Myself and my partner completed application forms to view a rental property on 9/11/2022 (1 day after the property went online). Didn't get a call back from an agent until 14/11/2022 to offer us a viewing. The woman I spoke to tried to arrange a viewing for the following day before 4pm, which I said would be difficult as it was such short notice and I work 9-5. She wasn't very accommodating to this - she said she could do Wednesday but told me 'we have viewings Tuesday and so it might be let by then'. In the end my partner took an hour annual leave to view on the Tuesday without me - they never sent any viewing confirmation and no house number but he found it using the photo. They also never called us to let us know the landlord's decision - it's pretty disappointing having to chase up a rejection especially when the person on the other end of the phone sounds like they couldn't care less. Overall they were slow to contact, had a lack of understanding when it came to viewing availability and lack of communication. We're put off from viewing other properties with them which is really unfortunate as I know they're one of the main estate agents in the areas we are looking in.

GoogleI used Manning Stainton in Pudsey for the sale of my property, and the seller also used them for the purchase of my property. Charlotte Murrie was excellent throughout the sale and purchase, was regularly in contact with updates and info, and was willing to chase solicitors effectively when assistance was needed. Couldn't recommend them more and will definitely be using them again in future. Thank You!

Everyone I've spoken to has been helpful and friendly, but especially Ellie Weale who has been a constant source of support during a pretty stressful period. They're efficient, chasing things up and getting things done when they say they will. I'm glad I went with them and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Had a negative experience with Manning Stainton during offer negotiations. Communication was really poor, which did not ease an already stressful process. Had to chase heavily for updates. We are looking for agencies to represent our sale and this made our decision easier!

He had a call one week ahead of an apparent completion date, with no communication previously from manning Staunton or solicitor. We were recommended a solicitor Advatage property Lawyers) from manning Staunton that had even worse communication (6 weeks with no contact - no weekly catch up, I think I spoke to them 3 times during the process) We finally managed to delay the completion date by 2 weeks and only then exchanged the day before completion even though due to short notice removal company had to pack the day before exchange. We finally exchanged whilst travelling to our destination. We have been cc’d into an email trail from our solicitor and can clearly see that manning Stainton knew about the first proposed date of completion from the chain 1 month earlier, however didn’t tell us. Stressful throughout, lack communication, 1 star is purely that they arranged for viewings on 3 occasions as buyers pulled out.

Began sale of my house end of June. Still hasnt gone through. Buyer awaiting third mortgage application mid October. This wasn’t the person Mannings Wetherby told me was the true buyer. No response to complaint at Head Office. Now lost the property I was buying. So another couple totally let down. Update: reply from Mannings received on Trust Pilot - telling me to contact Clair Frieze. I did. Two weeks ago. No reply.
We are really sorry to read your review and can appreciate this situation must be extremley frustrating. We can assure you that every buyer we agree a sale to has the full due dilligence conducted on them but sadly there are occassions where a buyers position changes through the course of sale or there can be issues with their mortgage once it passes through the lenders internal processes. This is never as we would have intended. In repsect of any complaint please can you resend this to clare.frieze@manningstainton.co.uk and we will take a further look into what has happened.
