We sold and purchased with the Beeston branch who were excellent all the way through. We had three different people offering on our home within three days of going on the market which was really impressive. Special mention should go to Zainiour move manager who constantly kept us informed throughout the whole process and made sure both the sale and purchase got there in the end, she was both helpful and reassuring when things got stressful. Do not use them for lettings!

Renting a property via Manning Stainton is a generally painful experience which requires constant ongoing monitoring and intervention by the landlord. They represent poor value for money, do not follow instructions or act in the landlords best interest.My interactions have generally been unprofessional and required multiple follow ups to get even the most basic maintenance undertaken. They admit their 'approved contractors' are overcharging but their only suggestion is to organise somebody independent despite paying them monthly to manage the property. Accounts team are equally unprofessional with underpaying rent, increasing fees, requesting money to be left on account and then randomly returning it. Tendency to hide behind "do not reply" or generic email addresses. No consistent relationship manager and when you want anything from them (such as a simple annual statement of account) it is chargeable.Would avoid at all costs.

Made the house-buying process easy and hassle-free

I used Manning Stainton to buy my first house. They were really helpful in getting my purchase completed - they communicated really well with me and made the process as quick and stress-free as possible. My move manager was superb and a huge help in making sure everything stayed on track.The only slight issue was that I was told at the house viewing that there wasn't a chain - in reality there was, however it was only 1 person and this didn't end up affecting the length of the process.

Adam Kemp: Not passing messages from tenants to landlord and vice versa. Incorrectly instructing subcontractors causing us unnecessary costs. Not responding to tenants notifying of flood. Sub contractors bodging repairs. Being told that communications weren’t forwarded because they were only overseeing the property. Simply disgraceful.
