GoogleReally terrible at managing our property, miscommunication and delay throughout, ended up threatening us with legal action when the money owed was completely their fault. Do not use.

GoogleThe worst experience in my life! I found a property through the Dulwich agency office. The person who showed me the place and was dealing with this property was Hannah. After the offer stage where there was other people wanting this place and we had to put a few offers, I was assured by the agency that my final offer is now accepted and we can proceed to the referencing process and if there is no problems with it, I am definitely getting the property. When I had any questions and was calling the agency, they were always saying they will call me back and they NEVER did, I had to call them again! However, I have started the process and after that I gave my notice at the property I was living at that moment. I have provided again my bank details to the agency for the second reservation payment. About a week later, just few days before I had to move out from my current place, the agency called me and told me that the landlord has given the property to other people who have passed the referencing process first from other agency!!! I then of course thought since I have paid the reservations fees there will be some consequences for the landlord and he would not be able to give the property to others, but I was wrong because apparently the agency did not took the second payment from me and they said that there is nothing they can do, because of that! They said that the only thing they can do is to offer me other place, but then it turns out that they did not have any matching my requirements! I could not even put a complaint or even speak to the office manager, because he was always "busy" or "not in the office"! I had to move to friends house until I found another property! I also had to call the agency a few weeks later to remind them that they still haven't refunded my money!!! I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE! Really unprofessional, unorganised and only caring about money!

GoogleAs a landlord they were great at getting a tenant (advertising, getting the asking price, organising check-in, etc...) but then dreadful thereafter. Why do I need to phone up over 5 times to get a copy of my statement or for you to arrange for the tenant to check out. All in all, pre-sales = good, post sales = poor

GoogleDon't bother! It is not worth it. no matter how much you want the property or whatever they promise you, they lie 99% of the time. I wish I never did business with them now I am stuck in a contract and from the minute you signed they don't care about anything anymore. I.e. they don't reply to phone calls and emails, they don't keep their promises and don't even adhere to their own terms. they double charge landlords and tenants for things that are not even being done, e.g. professional cleaning. Then they blame other people for it. It is getting to the point where it is so ridiculous you just give up complaining and let the evil win. Just don't bother, these guys are the reason estate agents have a terrible reputation.

GoogleTom Sergeant - no hot air, just good advice. Can't stand estate agents who are fresh out of university and know nothing. Tom knows what he's talking about and doesn't push useless info and agent phrases at you.

GoogleI rented a property threw this agency few years ago. Letting agents were helpful n polite. Especially Jibby. Unfortunately when I had to deal with their head office I was very disappointed. I have never seen that kind of attitude in customer service. They never have any time to answer my call, give me a wright information... Many times I have been told that responsible person will call me back, but during all contract he never did, I guess they are saving money for telephone bill.. Just useless ppl. Wouldn't pick this agency again, just because head office.

GoogleIncompetent staff, terrible service, unexplained costs and general lack of professionalism . We were lucky that our Landlord was great and didn't have to deal with this terrible agency directly for the majority of our tenancy. Ludlow failed to complete even the most basic of administrative tasks, leaving us constantly in the lurch. At the end of our tenancy they then wanted to charge us £400 + to have the property professionally cleaned (bearing in mind the new tenants were moving in 2 days after we vacated the property, I fail to see when this would have taken place). They failed to notify the landlord they were even re-letting the property causing great confusion! Being promised a check out on our moving out day we rushed to get everything ready, only for Ludlow not to turn up. They then had the audacity to charge a 'check out fee' of £106, having not communicated this at all, they simply debited the Landlords account without asking. If we had chosen to stay in the property they wanted to charge a further £140 despite having no communication with them throughout the year (I fail to see where that £140 would be going aside from their greedy pockets!!) I certainly would not recommend Ludlow, shambolic service - the worst letting agents I have encountered by a long way!

GoogleFabian and Jo helped me find a flat and complete all the paperwork within 72 hours. I was very stressed about moving down from Manchester in a short window of time however they went above and beyond to ensure the process was very smooth. Fabian in fact met me on a Sunday to give me the keys personally. He also helped me move in for 3 hours! These guys clearly work very hard for their clients and customers to ensure that everything goes well. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism, efficiency and helpfulness of everyone I dealt with. Thanks again, Mustafa

GoogleThey seem like a standard agency when you first talk to them but you will soon realise that this is all sales talk. In the 18 months I have rented through them I have only had troubles with them. They never managed to get things fixed in the flat (multiple things amongst others damp), when they returned the deposit they never told me what they charged for even when I requested a breakdown. Whenever I called to talk to them they always promised to fix or sort out things within a week but never did on any occasion - every time it was all sales talk no action! I will never use these guys again even if they have the most amazing flat!

GoogleI recently saw 2 properties in Nunhead thro Thomas Sergeant. I interacted with many estate agents before, but Thomas stands out as one of the best,. He is very , knowledgeable, very prompt and punctual . He is very courteous and it's a pleasure to deal with him

GoogleMy experience was very poor, customer service was practically non existent, would not recommend to use them or use them myself again. They were never able to assist with any problems relating to the flat, 1 month later still waiting for deposit to be returned despite a good check out report. Overall expensive administration fees, no one returns calls, and if you run into difficulty with the Landlord your basically on your own, use them at your own perril. 08/2013
