GoogleI usually resent these type of places because it sometimes feels like they’re out to empty your wallet but I was not only pleasantly surprised with the service and efficiency but literally subdued with how friendly Jonathan Akinola was...this man has to be one of the most charming and helpful people I’ve ever met! Super patient as well because I was being very indecisive... I walked in for a flat and after a chat felt like buying a mansion!! Thumbs up and keep the good work

GoogleAs a wheelchair user, my requirements when searching for a property are specific. But my experiences with Estate agencies had been almost exclusively that of ineptitude. When I contacted ludlowthompson, I was dealing with Chris Lockwood, and he was the only person I dealt with throughout the rental process. Even though I did not end up renting with ludlowthompson, the way Chris worked was exceptional. He only showed me suitable properties and was checking everything in fastidious detail. Chris showed true knowledge about the areas and the properties, and he was always able to answer any questions. I cannot recommend Chris Lockwood enough for any potential tenant or landlord.

GoogleAvoid at all costs. They said that if we put a deposit down and the landlord accepts, the property is ours to rent. The landlord accepted, sent the money to ludlow thompson, and we handed in our notice. A few days later, we got a generic email saying our rental was unsuccessful. No phone call from the agent who was handling us. After several attempts at calling ludlow thompson, someone finally told us that the landlord had decided to move in another couple earlier than we could move. Communication about this was completely unacceptable and unprofessional, leaving us in a situation to find another property to live in before our notice was over. TERRIBLE

GoogleHad a great experience with the Acton team, they really do have quite a lot of good properties to rent and they always send you new offers either as a text or email. Jonathan and his apprentice Charlie were very helpful and professional, really prompt communication via emails and on the phone. GooglePoor understanding of local HMO regulations, lack of transparency of terms and conditions, poor staff training and charge a high premium. Finance department were stressful to deal with. They really need to think about their clients needs instead of being a greedy and self serving estate agents. Please be aware that they will charge your two year’s estate agent fees within the first 8 months of the tenancy!! Just awful, I would encourage others to go with another estate agents.

GoogleTruly terribly service. Can only be described as the Alan Partridge of estate agents. Mislead us, telling us that we had to raise our offer to several years. When meeting the landlord he was shocked that our offer had even been accepted and wanted the complete opposite. To try and bargain for an offer is one thing but to lie to both the prospective tenants & landlord is another. Completely self-serving and uncontactable in times of need. Go elsewhere.

Googlethe only star is in order to get my review published! I had decided to let out my property through LT, and overall received the worst experience of my life! very unprofessional, and rude towards both tenants and landlords. Still regret the day I decided to sign up with them, cause as soon as I did and decided to pull out, I was sent various emails by the manager threatening of law suits and various other threats, a record of which I still have available. During the two years they managed my property, they were late in forwarding the rental collection and I had to constantly follow this up. Sometimes, it took over 5 days from the date rent was paid until it was forwarded. They blamed it on the "processing time", never seen anything like it.
Afterwards, once I got to know the tenant, I found out even the tenant was left in the dark till the very last day and was in a complete shock since she thought she was going to be made homeless having terminated her previous tenancy. Not entirely sure, why they made the poor girl go through such hassle when the property had been empty for over a month and they had the keys. Oh and not to mention that the number of complaints that I made about their service, was met with blank faces and didn't go anywhere. tenants, landlords, and everyone else, STAY AWAY! can't stress enough, STAY AWAY!

Even worse, agents lied that they had received offers on the property I was interested in when this was clearly not the case (I double checked with other agencies that communicated directly with landlord and confirmed there were no other offers). I couldnt stress enough how you should avoid this agency.
