I also appreciated the advice and information they shared with me about living in the area in general, which was particularly helpful as a prospective tenant. I have had bad experiences with ludlow in the past, so was reluctant to go back, but was getting nowhere with other agents. Ludlow immediately found a tenant, and again with a second flat - there were even no void days. The new manager Josh seems really switched on and did a very good job. So If you have had bad experiences in the past, you might want to revisit. Theres no doubt Ludlow had really gone downhill, but hopefully if Josh stays, then they can regain some of their old reputation.

I would give them zero stars if I could. When I moved in my room definitely wasn’t professionally cleaned as they claimed, and they didn’t do the inspection until I already lived there for good two months. They also refused to deal with my flatmate’s increasingly worrying antisocial behaviour, and are trying to charge us ‘move out’ fees. Despite my several emails they fail to inform me when we have viewings, so I’m never too sure when there will be strangers walking around the house. Not to mention after the last viewings they left our front door unlocked, and they tell potential new tenants all furniture is staying, which is not true since we bought quite a few pieces of equipment and we are taking them with us. Absolute shambles of an agency, I have no idea how they stay in business but I will never rent anything through them again, it is not worth the hassle.

All the info was given by email so it's clear and easy. The agency offers 24/7 line support for emergencies which is very convenient. I expect the time of the tenancy to be easy-going with them.
