Special shout out to Donald who guided us through a naturally overwhelming process with a smile and hand on the shoulder. He's great at showing you a whole range of properties. Some of them aren't right at all but it's important to realise this is an essential part of the process, so you know you've found "the one" when you do eventually step into it. He's extremely proactive, personable, and critically there's none of this pushy sales nonsense that so many estate agents seem to be leaning into these days. Appreciate it thanks Donald!

This review is for Tehreen Afgar. What a fabulous estate agent! She is kind and compassionate AND all business, efficient, direct, motivated and intuitive. I did not think I would actually meet any estate agent that I liked or felt comfortable with in London, after a long and complicated process, but Tehreen was the light at the end of the tunnel. I can't thank Tehreen enough for her help on my property search. She really listens, remembers what's important to you, and never once has she made me feel like a burden despite how many properties we've viewed together. Lola is the one! She is just amazing. Thanks to her we found the perfect house and she strived to make it possible for us to call it OUR house! Probably great if you're a landlord or a potential home owner, but I would be very hesitant to sign a tenancy agreement with their name on it again. We have had various issues caused or made worse by ludlow during our 3 year lease, including being over charged for admin fees (which were already set at astronomical amounts), taking literal months to undergo a change tenants and being blamed for mold issues inherent to the property. They are clearly understaffed and over worked, so I do not blame any individual employees for these downfalls and some individuals been extremely helpful over the years on occasion. However, this does not forgive how much a shambles the company operates as a whole.

Not one to leave reviews but for the reasons below I feel it is necessary this time. Holly was very helpful up until we paid the deposit, but since then has proved unwilling to provide any help or service hiding behind the ‘not managed by us’ line. We arrived to our new, fully furnished, home on the same day and time as arranged with the landlord to find no door on the property, no furniture in the property and no one to meet us with keys, not that these were needed considering there was no door. The landlord arrived and told us that someone was coming to fix the door but that it would take all day and that the people who were meant coming to move our furniture into the house had let her down. I had to take an emergency day off work to make sure that our belongings weren’t left unattended. To cut a long story short it has been two weeks and we only just have a fully furnished house with four mattresses. We have had no help from the agent whatsoever and feel very neglected and abandoned. Won’t be using foxtons ever again.

If you are selling your home in Dulwich or the surrounding area give Foxton’s a call. They helped sell my property in Forest Hill and far exceeded my expectations. Dominic Butler, Sales Manager, set a price using his area expertise, and Attiya Razaq was my estate agent. I can’t say enough good things about them both. We had viewings the same week, and the first of a number of offers came within 2 weeks. Attiya's calm and composed approach and meticulous attention to detail, ensured well organised viewings and a stress-free transaction for me. She is a superstar, and did what all excellent estate agents do - she took full responsibility for an unmanaged monster of a process, and she took everything that was outside of her control and put it into her control.

They are pleasant and charming whenever they want you to sign a contract with them. However, when our contract ended, they attempted to charge us over £500 for trivial repairs, most of which were due to the poor ventilation of the flat. Despite refusing to pay multiple times, we ultimately didn’t have to pay anything, as they were not entitled to charge us for those repairs. They also behaved unprofessionally when arranging viewings and final visits, and they altered the concepts and amounts of the fees to be paid multiple times. We ended up dealing with the letting manager, who was one of the rudest individuals we’ve encountered
